In Sherlock Holmes' time it was common for children to be homeless, roaming the streets, without hearth, home and family. Like the Artful Dodger, they lived by their wits. And no one cared.

Today we've allowed little children to come into our country without any safeguards. And, predictably, these children are nowhere to be found, turned over to "relatives," and ultimately reported to be leading lives of servitude, trafficked and abused.

But this isn't Sir Arthur Conan Doyle''s England. This is the United States of America. What have we allowed our elected officials to do without being held to account? Like Joe Biden. Barack Obama. And all the people who allow the Jeffrey Epsteins, Bidens, Obamas in this world go unpunished.

Hang tough.
