You can say whatever you want about Elon Musk. But remember what Elon said when taking on the task of finding fraud and waste in the U.S. government. He said he was doing it because otherwise the U.S. would go bankrupt.

He was more of a patriot than I've seen from other elected officials who think it's okay to spend like drunken sailors. It was clear the man loves this country.

As far as his beef with Trump, I don't care. If they want to fight like two-year-olds, that's for them to settle. It's undignified, but, once again, they should know better.

The point is, Musk is right. We don't need more debt. I'm not sure how good the Big Beautiful Bill is, but I have my doubts about accruing more debt. Does the bill do that? It's not clear. But I do know most Americans today have too much month left at the end of their paychecks.
