After an attempted Third Assassination, it was so nice to see how happy King Charles III and President Trump were in each other's company yesterday when the King Charles and Queen Camilla were welcomed to the White House.

Trump and Charles made speeches that were poignant and memorable. Kind and thoughtful. One had to be proud at how highly our president is held in the eyes of our most faithful ally.

Ironically, King Charles' speech spurred a remembrace of  what our country was founded for. He spoke of the deliberation that is afforded for the important work done by Congress. And of the principles that guided our Founding Fathers, who were, after all, Englishmen.

Because of Donald Trump, our country is respected by people around the world. And we are fortunate, indeed.
