Dave Letterman thinks a whole lot of himself than anyone else does. He's so creepy now, and was creepy in his latter days on late night, but he doesn't get it, and neither does Stephen Colbert.

For his last show, Colbert and Letterman threw CBS office furniture off the roof as an "old skit of Letterman's"?! It wasn't funny. It looked downright dangerous. But more than that, it was embarrassing that these two men thought they were making a statement against CBS.

At one point Letterman said he was the one who made late night great. Ever hear of Steve Allen, Dave. Or Johnny Carson? All I remember about Dave Letterman, in his downward spiral days, was that he wouldn't marry the mother of his child.

She gave birth in 2003. He married her in 2009. Of course, it's none of my business. I shouldn't judge. It's not nice. But I wonder if she regrets that she ever accepted his belated and insulting proposal. Especially now that he's sporting a Santa Claus beard. And throwing furniture off buildings for a failed comic like Colbert.
