Assistant Health Secretary Levine is gone, but not forgotten. Well, maybe "she" is. New portraits in the hallway of the Humphrey Building in D.C., have photos of former leaders in the Department of Health and Human Services displayed. It is an inscription on one of the photos that is causing NPR to have the vapors.

Rachel Levine used to be Richard Levine. He was a father and a husband, and he was called Richard. Therefore, it's not wrong to have the inscription below...

All who thank their lucky stars to be living in America, raise your hands! Everybody else who complains, sit down, and grow up. Today one of the gripes is that the younger generation can't afford to buy a house because of the economy. Huh? Interest rates are at about 6 percent. In the 1980's they were 17 percent. They also complain that they're broke, struggling to pay their college loans for degrees in gender studies.

Something's wrong, especially when you have it good, and all you do is complain. Used to be in the "olden days" you worked and saved. And liked being productive. It was to someday have a house. Go to college. And because people paid for their own college education, sometimes having to work and go to school at night, it was not a guarantee they could attend, but if they did, they considered it a privilege.

It's time to bring back some of the old values. Put on clothes. Leave the p.j.'s and slippers at home. Americans survived and thrived during our country's most challenging times. And had shows like Leave It to Beaver. Not a bad show, but we don't have to go back to guys wearing suits and ties to a ball game. Like The Beav and Wally did.

Hang tough.

Am I needlessly sensitive, or does it seem really, really wrong that President Trump is so friendly with so many objectionable people? Like Mayor-Elect Mamdani. The Saudi nation in general. And the people in Qatar, the home to Hamas leaders.

I understand keep your friends close and your enemies closer, but even the Mafia had a limit to embracing that point of view. And loyalty is a good virtue, if you actually practice it. For myself I feel  neglected and betrayed....

Some movies really hit home. They're not any of the woke ones Hollywood's been making for the past few years. But ones like Dr. Zhivago. You had to put on your winter woolies just to watch it. It was set in Russia and it gave you chilblains.

The movie took place during the Russian Revolution. You know the whole "Power to the people" routine. At one point the Revolution was so successful for the people that people were boiling leather belts to make soup, because the...

You know how on TV there's a time lag when a person is interviewed? Well, I think it's happening in news reporting. Now the news outlets are reporting about how unaffordable Obamacare is. That's news we all knew, and it's from 2010.

There is "breaking news" about a pipebomb found outside the Democratic National Committee Headquarters. That was in 2021.

And it seems, January 6, 2021, is still considered "news." At least the BBC thinks so. Just the other day, BBC w...

Michelle Obama has been out of the White House for a long time, and she's still suffering from the experience. You can tell. She gives interviews and has a podcast to tell you what a grueling experience being First Lady was.

Her latest tour is to plug her newest book, about fashion in the White House. She said she made her fashion choices as First Lady "carefully, thoughtfully, strategically," as she knew that her appearance spoke volumes and projected a power that wor...

There's something creepy going on. If you stream-watch, every ad, and there are plenty of them, is for gambling, of course with the caveat that "if you have a gambling problem." There are lots of liquor ads, and advertisements that say "If you don't wear it, sell it." They give it cute names, but it's people selling used clothes. Same-thing ads are running on mainstream TV. too. Like we're poor. Or "them" telling us we are, and it's okay.

Then there's Wells Fargo. Late...

It's finally here. The petty thievery that Democrats have spawned. In a CVS down the street from us, in a sleepy little town in New Jersey, felons picked and chose What To Not Pay for, sticking the items they calmly chose, into their bags and sauntering out.

Did the employees call the cops? No. Did the felons run like crazy, escaping rom the scene of the crime? No. And when asked, were the employees upset? No.  "That's what always happens," they said, and stood, look...

It shouldn't happen. Not from conservatives. To mock J.B. Pritzker, Chris Christie or Jerry Nadler about their weight. It's low class, and as Democrats are fond of saying, "That's not who we are." But we mean it. That isn't who we are. And it's not funny to poke fun at somebody like that. Stick to policy, guys.

I would rather these guys start to work for the country, rather than engaging in Trump baiting and hating. As for Pritzker, he should read the Constitution and...

Windmills. Gov. Murphy loves them. Residents of his state don't. And neither do the Kennedys. See, when windmills were proposed to be installed along the coast of Cape Cod where the Kennedys live, it was not received well. Sen. Ted and the family said it was because of concern for the fish industry, but we know they were screaming, "How dare you destroy our view!"

And so the Cape Wind windmill project was killed. It's really no surprise. The Elites are more important t...
