First it was the penny that was sent out to pasture. Now it's Winnie. The UK has announced that Winston Churchill and other prominent people will no longer appear on British money notes. Instead pictures of wild life will substitute, as "not divisive."
Things are changing, first for Winston Churchill, and now for Britain as an American ally. When President Trump asked UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer for permission to use British bases for the U.S. strikes on Iran, the PM said no. Huh.
Later Starmer said, "Okay." But with Trump, you don't get a second chance to make a good first impression. Trump wrote on Truth Social, "The United Kingdom, our once Great Ally, maybe the Greatest of them all, is finally giving serious thought to sending two aircraft carriers to the Middle East."
"That's OK, Prime Minister Starmer. We don't need them any longer. But we will remember. We don't need people that join Wars after we've already won."
Looks like the former "Prince" Andrew isn't the only one messing up in Britain.
Hang tough.
Hang tough.
