I don't know what's happening, but watching the 24/7 coverage of Savannah Guthrie's mother's abduction is puzzling. Not only is it too much coverage, although God bless the poor woman and her family, but the coverage is overbalanced. Fox doesn't cover anything else. That's not good. And we know everything but who abducted her.
Maybe it doesn't work this way, but the cops on TV usually secure the crime scene; keep the crime details to themselves; and suspect everyone in the family. Right from the getgo. Not here. Not saying TV is real, but the shows do have real law enforcement advisors, and we didn't see anything that should have been done, being done.
In the Old West, news got there when it got there, and I think our Nation did pretty well with things that way. The news channels and their "journalists" should take a look in the mirror. Or maybe just ask Nick Shirely how to do it the right way.
Hang tough.
