“My cooking is so bad, my kids thought Thanksgiving was to commemorate Pearl Harbor.” Phyllis Diller

Food, family and football. That’s Thanksgiving in America today.
That's fine. But lately holidays like Thanksgiving, have gotten a little ragged around the edges.
People grouse about battling the crowds at airports to get to Grandma’s house. They fret about the Thanksgiving Day menu, and worry if there will be enough food.
Some people dread the day. And seldom is there heard a grateful word.
This year, the Kamala-ites and Liberals who lost are saying, “Skip the holiday! If someone in your family voted for Trump, screw them! It’s too painful to be around them!”
They’re not thinking. Not about their mother who may not be around for the next election cycle. Or the parents who are holding vigil around their child at St. Jude’s, and would love to have their holiday dinner with their family.
Libs sure don’t know how to lose gracefully. That could be why they lost.
Back in 1620, there were people who had their heads on straight. They wanted freedom, and were willing to suffer the slings and arrows of fate to get it.
On November 11, 1620, a group of “Pilgrims” set out to sea on the Mayflower for the “New World.” The voyage took 66 days. After enduring terrible conditions, they landed at Cape Cod in the dead of winter.
By spring of the next year, only 50 of the original 102 passengers survived.
None of these early settlers would have complained about their hardships. And none would have skipped the celebratory meal at which they gave thanks to God and the Indians Obama calls "indigenous."
But Kamala and Joe? They're having a tough time being grateful.
Donald Trump met with Joe at the White House on November 13, and was very kind to Joe.
But immediately afterwards, Joe and his handlers started doing everything they could to make the President-Elect’s transition into the presidency as unpleasant and difficult as possible.
On November 17, Joe authorized use of American long-range missiles by Ukraine against Russia, throwing a monkey wrench into Trump’s plan to end the Ukraine War, and putting the U.S. in danger of World War III for Trump to handle.
The White House and Sen. Schumer held late night sessions in the Senate to fast-track confirmation of judicial appointments before Congress adjourned and Republicans take over the Senate.
This week Trump cabinet nominees are getting death threats, and Trump’s Border Czar Tom Homan has been getting them nonstop. His family has had to leave their home.
All because Kamala lost an election.
But life goes on.
Joe’s here and there. Mostly there. Not at work. This week celebrating in Nantucket while Rome burns.
Kamala is MIA from her paid job, some say, drowning her sorrows. They say that because of the video she released.
She sounded drunk. She looked bad.
The video was to encourage her supporters, and to boast about her campaign fundraising.
"Because of your efforts,” she said, staring fuzzily into the camera, “get this. We raised an historic $1.4 billion dollars from grassroot supporters alone.”
She shouldn’t have said that.
Her campaign is $20 million dollars in debt.
The union representing members of the Democrat National Committee is holding a GoFundMe page.
And a lot of her campaign workers haven't been paid.
Today’s headline in the Times of India (go figure) reads, “Kamala Harris called a ‘functioning alcoholic,’ ‘broken’ as she drops new video.”
Yeah. The video looked like that.
Like when someone Dials While Drinking. Or the way your drunk uncle looks when he’s giving you advice on Thanksgiving. For three hours.
Kamala’s feeling blue, and there’s no doubt that Obama hasn’t invited her over to the mansion.
No. Instead he’s probably telling her, “You don’t have to go home, Kamala, but you can’t stay here.”
Hold the line, America.
Stay strong and be grateful, Patriots.
