With Beetlejuice. Why in the world would you ever say his name? You know what happens.
The same goes for Jimmy Kimmel. In fact, probably just writing his name might be a bad idea.
But today, it seems it’s all about Not Accentuating the Positive.
We are inundated by things that don’t matter, while the things that do matter go to pot.
Two weeks ago, Charlie Kirk was assassinated. It was a terrible thing.
Kirk was a conservative who practiced his beliefs. He walked the walk. And he did it for years.
So, are you at all surprised that Jimmy Kimmel said something “liberal,” something “nasty” about Charlie Kirk’s death?
That is who Kimmel is. And really, who cares?
However, in our current Alice in Wonderland World, we are made to hear about events like Kimmel, whether we care or not. And the media runs with it 24/7.
We heard about Charlie Kirk’s death and his life for two solid weeks. No offense, but it has gone on for too long.
I knew about Charlie Kirk, and I admired the work he did for the conservative movement on college campuses. Work no one else did, in a college environment that made it difficult for students to be conservative.
But if we’re honest, I would say the majority of Americans doesn’t know who Charlie Kirk is.
And that’s okay. His story is one that should be told. He should be mourned. He should be praised for the work he did.
What is not okay is that both President Trump and Vice President Vance chose to attend the Memorial held for Kirk on Sunday in Arizona.
It was a bad decision. It put the country in jeopardy, and I'll explain.
Charlie Kirk was assassinated. Brutally. The Memorial was touching, but was basically a rally, attended by thousands.
For the First and Second in command of our nation to choose to go to such an event, after President Trump’s life has been threatened on two occasions, was something that should not have happened.
It’s a dangerous world. Their attendance at the ceremony was unnecessary, costly and dangerous. For the entire country. For its citizens. It was also concerning that neither Trump nor Vance attended the 9/11 ceremony in New York.
Today alone, it has been reported that an ICE agent in a Dallas Immigrant and Customs Enforcement facility, was killed by a sniper, just because.*
Yesterday Trump would-be Mar-a-Lago assassin Ryan Routh stabbed himself in the neck with a pen in court when he was found guilty, illustrating the mental state of mind of people like him in the world today.
And at the United Nations yesterday, U.S. employess thought it was Liberal-Funny to mess up the escalator, the teleprompter and the sound system for President Trump’s address. Harmless? Maybe not.
As for Kimmel, if he is contented to be a comedian who isn’t funny, whose nightly shows garner fewer viewers than the old Johnny Carson reruns, that’s up to him.
He’s making $15 million dollars a year. He owns four multi-million-dollar houses in California, so what does he care what anyone thinks about him?
And apparently that includes the people who mourn Charlie Kirk.
We know what kind of behavior to expect from people like Kimmel, Colbert and other liberals. Harris, and Clinton. People like Whoopi on The View.
But, in the final analysis, who cares?
We have a country to run.
Call me crazy, but that is what Trump and Vance should be thinking about. I think Charlie Kirk would have wanted them to.
Hold the line, Ameria.
Stay strong, Patriots
*This was later corrected. An immigrant detainee unfortunately was killed, not an ICE agent.
