Obama Makes Benedict Arnold Look Good

Honesty may be the best policy, but it’s important to remember that apparently, by elimination, dishonesty is the second-best policy.” George Carlin

This month has been a bittersweet one for music.

Much loved Prince of Darkness, Ozzy Osbourne passed away yesterday.

And July 13th was the 40th Anniversary of Live Aid .

Bob Geldof of the Boomtown Rats produced the event.

Geldof had seen heartbreaking films of people starving to death in Ethiopia, and was moved to do something.

Geldof was and still is, an abrasive, impatient, compassionate guy who strong-armed everyone he knew to raise funds for those people.

He and Midge Ure of Ultravox wrote, Do They Know It’s Christmas, then enlisted the most talented young musicians of the day to sing it.

Simon LeBon of Duran Duran, Boy George, Sting, Bananarama, Phil Collins, George Michael, Paul Young, Bono, and others.

The Band Aid record was released on December 3, 1984, and was a smash hit.

The next year, he organized the Live Aid concert.

The two-venue concert in Wembley Stadium in London and John F. Kennedy Stadium in Philadelphia went live to 161,000 people in the combined venues, and 1.9 billion worldwide through television broadcasts.

Some said he couldn’t do it. But he did.

Even then racism raised its ugly head. Harry Belafonte contacted Geldof and accused him of not including black performers.

Geldof didn’t see skin color. Belafonte did.

Belafonte missed the point. In fact, he never got it.

At a rally in 2010 he was critical, this time, and again, of the U.S.

“Although slavery may have been abolished, the crippling poison of racism still persists, and the struggle still continues,” he accused.

Geldof and Live Aid are iconic. They represent what’s good in the world.

Belafonte, on the other hand, reminds me of people like Barack Obama.

Obama was the first president who didn’t like the country he was elected to serve.

Shocking, but, when you think about it, not surprising.

Obama was mentored in his childhood by a Communist, Frank Marshall Davis. It’s hard to shake that kind of indoctrination when you learned it as a kid.

And it doesn’t seem that he did.

After organizing communities, Obama set about fundamentally transforming America, just as promised. He didn’t like America the way it was.

American holidays seemed to annoy him.

The Civil Rights movement didn’t really move him.

He was an American citizen, but attended America-hating Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s Black Liberation church.

As a candidate, he was guided politically by terrorist bomber Bill Ayers.

Not rich, he somehow attended all the best schools.

He made Law Review at Harvard, but never authored a single article.

Obama did a lot that was wrong.

During and after his term in office he politicized the Intelligence Community, Introduced DEI, Critical Race Theory, Wokeness. And, worst of all, stuck us with Joe.

But then a bump in his road stopped him in his tracks.

Trump.

It was Trump who pulled the mask off the Deep State. Obama and Company countered by playing dirty.

Recent documents from National Intelligence Director Gabbard will provide evidence on just how dirty.

But this is all old news.

Obama is so irrelevant now, that he and Michelle are posting their couples counseling sessions.

But for the first time since Benedict Arnold betrayed his country, we have candidates for treason. That is news.

As the good Rev. Wright would say, Barack’s chickens finally have come home to roost.
But they didn’t land before he gave us people in government who are just like him.

Muslim-Communist Zohar Mamdani in New York City. Muslim-Somalian-Socialist Omar Fateh in Minneapolis. Both running for mayor of their respective cities.

Obama has fundamentally transformed America, just as he promised.

In its own way, it's iconic,

Hold the line, America. Stay strong, Patriots.

Love to Sharon and Ozzy's kids. He will be missed.
