We know our country is in a pickle.

We have a National Debt that’s too high. The country needs to keep running. All of that is supposed to be taken care of by the people we elect.

But that’s not how it’s working out.

While we diligently paid our taxes, then sent our Electeds out for milk and bread, they came back with candy and cigarettes.

When they found a lot of money…No, not DOGE money; nobody talks about DOGE anymore. When they found a lot of money, (from tariffs or something), Electeds came back to us with milk and cigarettes. And we were told that we should be happy to get the milk, but we were going to have to do without the bread.

After they spent our money.

It doesn’t matter who’s in charge. Electeds like to spend our money irresponsibly.

And We the People are expected to keep our noses to the grindstone, and balance our budgets so we can bankroll them for not doing their jobs.

Take the Democrats in Texas. They’re not showing up for work, but are claiming that “not showing up for work,” is them doing their work for their constituents.

But, this is nothing new. Democrats fled Wisconsin back in 2011.

That time it was because they didn’t want to vote on a bill they didn’t like. And then like little girls, refused to tell anyone where they were.

(They were in Illinois.)

This week, Democrats hopped on a private jet, and headed like homing pigeons back to Illinois to meet with Gov. “Hyatt Hotel Millionaire” JB Pritzker.

It was to avoid another vote they didn’t like. Just like Fire Alarm Rep. Bowman, when he pulled the fire alarm to delay a vote Democrats didn’t like.

I don’t know what Pritzker can do for them. But money is always a draw for Democrats. And Sir Cumference Pritzker is loaded. (A line stolen from Chris Plante!)

Take Hunter Biden. After Joe was unceremoniously dumped by the Party, Hunter was perplexed on what to do next to make a living.

When he appeared on Channel 5 with Andrew Callaghan’s podcast a couple of weeks ago, he talked about his life as a victim, and his father’s life as a victim, and it seemed he might be making a bid to be the Democrat candidate for something or other.

Maybe he will. Or maybe he won’t. But at the moment, Hunter has a job. He announced it yesterday on the Callaghan podcast.

He’s going to be Director of Development at BASTA Universal. A nonprofit. And you know how nonprofits spend their not for profit money. They do it like the nonproits in California who received money for wild fire releif from a fundraising concert. They kept it. Victims never saw a dime.

Hunter's job will be to take on “preventing homelessness and protecting tenants’ rights in southern Los Angeles,” a position a BASTA spokesman said he’s more than qualified to do.

“He is smart, has experience in networking, and cares about the population we are trying to help.”

The rep didn’t mention Hunter’s experience with needles and drugs, both of which are part and parcel of the problem on L.A. streets, and which could be a real problem, and temptation, for a recovering addict.

But Hunter is thrilled at the prospect of the good job he's going to do. Like he did for Burisma.

I just think there is such an opportunity to be of service right now, and not in some kind of melodramatic way.

“There is enormous opportunity for just normal people to do kind of heroic things.”

Hunter is such a Democrat.

And it doesn’t matter who is in charge. Democrats will keep on being corrupt and getting into trouble in narcissistic ways. And Republicans will keep on explaining why they can’t do anything about it.

It doesn’t matter who is in charge. But, now that I think about it,  I think I want my money back.

Hold the line,  America.
Stay strong, Patriots.
