Representation Without Representation

Some people see things that are and ask, Why? Some people dream of things that never were and ask, Why not? Some people have to go to work and don't have time for all that.” George Carlin

The middle class has put up with a lot.

We’ve lived through Joe and Dr. Fauci.

We’re still living through inflation.

Everyday Americans are living hand-to-mouth, paycheck-to-paycheck, paying taxes so Congressmen can go to El Salvador.

Some are forced to start selling things, like their cars.

Some are delivering burgers in their own cars so company CEO’s like DoorDash’ Tony Xu, Andy Fang and Stanley Tang, can make a buck.

Others are waiting tables on Easter Sunday, hoping for a decent tip.

Whenever there’s a financial shortfall, it is the middle class elected officials think of to come up with the cash.

In New Jersey, the Boards of Education have decided to raise property taxes because, they claim, there’s not enough money to “not educate” our children.

In Florida, home insurance rates in Gov. DeSantis’ state have spiraled out of control, some insurers just plain leaving the state.

And a condo crisis exists because of building appraisals, left unaddressed for years, that will virtually bankrupt elderly and other condo owners.

But despite numerous TV appearances, DeSantis doesn’t talk about that. And neither does the media.

And in California…need I say more?

It’s always up to those middle classers to figure out what to do next whenever things go wrong. Elected representatives are too busy not representing.

There’s a lot to clean up in the country. And the middle class is owed big time for being such good sports.

Take Making America Healthy Again.

RFK, Jr. is hitting Red Dye pretty hard, as if we didn’t know Froot Loops weren’t good for you. But okay. There are food additive issues.

Finding the cause of autism? That’s worthwhile.

But since my kids were kids, and that’s a long time ago, we ate healthy food. So that’s nothing new.

It wasn’t a cause celebre. It was just smart. Our dogs ate healthy pet food, even though no one was doing that then.

Bobby can concentrate on improving kids’ health, but what we need him to do is tackle the real stuff.

Address the resurgence in measles, and tell the truth. Say plain and simple it is because unvaccinated illegal immigrants were allowed to come into our country, and that they brought diseases with them.

He could also add “While Americans were forced to get a Covid shot, and illegals weren’t, but that’s up to him.

We need him to make public the tragic heart problems that have plagued those who took the Covid shot. Young people dropping dead from heart attacks, and others that aren’t even reported.

But even in this Golden Age, no one is saying that.

We need Bobby to investigate the Covid Pandemic “mystery”  that apparently no one to this day seems able to solve, and to hold Fauci, the World Health Organization and China’s feet to the fire for what they have done to the American people.

Tops on my list.

There are pressing problems that make life hard for the middle class. Problems too long neglected, and new ones coming every day.

We already have a media, liberal and conservative, that spend far too much time on “news” like Jeff Bazos sending Katy Perry and friends on a space ride, in a rocket that was insultingly designed to humiliate.

A media that ignores the fact that Iran really does want to kill us Infidels.

What we don’t need is more of what we’ve already had.

Obama did enough, bank-rolling Iran, weakening our military, and methodically ushering in what we’ve got, which some call Progressive. Which smart people call Communism.

We need to  turn on the steam and deal with real issues that affect real people, like us.

Froot Loops and Skittles we already know about.

Hold the line, America.
Stay strong, Patriots.
