Politics is like a box of chocolates. “You never know what you’re gonna’ get.”
Democrats are the most interesting “chocolates.” They can spin anything.
Maybe it’s because there are fewer chocolate creams in the Democrat candy box, and a whole lot more nuts.
Last week disgraced former FBI Director James Comey essentially called for the assassination of President Trump. It involved sea shells. You probably heard about it.
Comey said he found a bunch of shells on a beach while on a morning walk, with 86 47 spelled out. He took a picture, and posted it.
…This was before his new book, "FDR Drive," a novel, was released on May 20.
He now insists that he didn’t know what “86 47” meant. Poor guy. He might be telling the truth. Miracles do happen.
But the explanation, “I thought it might be a political statement,” when he “found” the shells on the beach, doesn’t pass the smell test.
Comey was The Director of the FBI. Not a good one, but a Director.
And I always thought the job involved FBI-spy-breaking-secret-codes stuff. So decoding “86 47” would be a walk in the park, or on the beach, for him.
Plus, he has a history of hating Trump, and he made no secret of it.
In a 2018 interview with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos, Comey called President Trump “morally unfit.” And boasted that his daughters and wife wanted Hillary to be president.
...That was before his new book was released, "A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies and Leadership."
Like New York Attorney Letitia James, Comey was and still is, obsessed with taking out Trump, any way he can.
And his FBI included people who felt the same: Peter Strozk, Lisa Page, McCabe. You remember.
And there was that photo he posted of a shell with “Vote Harris” written on it in 2024.
Could be he just likes shells.
But when he appeared on an MSNBC interview with Nicole Wallace on Monday, to defend his shell story, he snickered his way through, and managed to end up being the victim.
How in the world does that happen?
Spin, spin. Distraction. Corruption.
Just like Joe.
This week Joe released the news that he is very sick. This is right at a time when all his corrupt political life is being exposed.
Now the news is an endless discussion of Joe’s cancer.
When was he diagnosed? What did he know, and when did he know it?
It’s all for distraction. And we all know Joe’s been a sick man for a very long time.
It’s old news embarrassingly recast as breaking news, about a president who was deliberately chosen and kept in place to be a mere figurehead.
“Joe might have been having mental issues for years,” the Leftist media is now reporting.
“The interview with Inspector Hur showed Joe was having mental problems for years,” they say shocked at the thought.
“Was there any physical proof we could see?” they ask.
Like falling down on stage? Like falling up on stairs? Freezing up? Speaking gibberish? Spending the entire 2020 campaign in his basement?
It didn’t matter that we saw it, that we knew it. We were told we didn’t.
The media said they “might have missed” a few things about Joe’s mental acuity…
That’s why they didn’t report it, they said. And why they’re writing books about it now.
Overall, sleazy is a good word to describe Joe, Comey, the media and Democrats. But especially Comey. He’s a strange dude.
But after Trump fired him, Comey was rewarded with a position at Columbia, as Leader-in-Residence, and was hired to teach a course on Ethical Leadership at the Colleges of William and Mary.
It’s the way it is.
Our government’s politics are in a terrible state.
Joe and Hunter and the Biden Family bilked the American people out of thousands by selling access to Joe. Comey is a dangerous, calculating, snake in the grass.
But nothing ever happens to any of them.
Peter Navarro went to jail. So did Roger Stone. Why can’t Joe? Why can’t Comey?
They won’t. That’s the problem.
…And, for the record, whatever the media tries to sell you, Comey never apologized for posting the 86 47 photo.
To him, it’s all a shell game.
