“Violence is the last refuge of the incompetent.” Isaac Asimov, American writer

Discipline is love. It makes a better world. Better people.
You break it, you bought it. You do the crime, you do the time.
As a mother, my rule of thumb was if the kids were doing something that annoyed me, they had to stop. Then they wouldn’t go on to annoy perfect strangers.
Today our country’s moral compass isn’t pointing to True North anymore. We’ve lost our way, with a lot of help.
What’s wrong, what’s right? What’s true, what’s false? Who knows anymore.
When rioters burn and loot in Los Angeles, Democrats say it’s not really so bad.
“Nobody was shot. Nobody was killed. Get it into your head,” Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.), actually said that about the riots in Los Angeles this week.
And, no. She wasn’t kidding.
Maxine wasn’t kidding in 2018 either when she told her supporters to harass members of the Trump administration.
“If you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station,” she shouted shrilly, outside a federal building.
“And you push back on them. And you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere.”
This is where we are. Democrats and the media siding with illegal immigrant criminals and anti-American mobs. Describing what they call “peaceful protests,” as fires burn behind their on-site reporters.
They are telling you "If you see something, don’t believe it." Not with Joe. Not with mobs.
People looting stores? Calling for $200,000-dollar, Waymo, self-driving electric cars to be delivered so they can torch them? Molotov cocktails being lobbed at cops and ICE agents?
It’s what is happening in the City of Angels. It's sick and it's against the law.
Who does this sort of thing? People who have been allowed to do it.
During Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan’s Summer of Love, rioters said, “Insurance will cover it.” Ignoring the broken buildings. The ruined businesses. The ruined lives.
Lack of disciple in the home and in government is a bad mistake. And that’s what we’ve got.
Take Greta Thunberg. Please…
Her parents, an opera singer mom and actor father, gave up their careers to support their autistic daughter’s quests. She wanted to save the planet, and they didn’t see anything wrong with that.
But their lack of judgment has made everyone else miserable.
They supported her to help her, but I don’t see her getting any better. Do you?
And there is no reason why everyone should be suffering every time their daughter surfaces to accuse, “How dare you????”
This week Greta sailed to Gaza to deliver supplies and to save Palestinians from “Israeli genocide”.
She and her fellow travelers tried to break through Israel’s naval blockade of the Gaza Strip, and were intercepted and deported.
When Israeli Defense Forces seized her boat, she claimed she was “kidnapped.”
Israeli Defense Minister Katz praised the military and the deportation, then instructed IDF to “show the flotilla passengers the video of the horrors of the October 7 massacre.”
He said he wanted them to “see exactly who the Hamas terrorist organization they came to support, and for whom they work, is. What atrocities they committed against women, the elderly and children, and against whom Israel is fighting to defend itself.”
But Greta and the crew turned their heads, unwilling to watch the video and to learn about the war in Gaza, just as Greta refuses to educate herself about climate change.
And that is even though she had to delete a 2018 tweet that warned that climate change would wipe out humanity in five years if fossil fuels were continued to be used.
Ultimately the group was flown back home, fully as irresponsible in their actions as the rioters in Los Angeles.
But at least Real Clear Politics journalist Andrew Stiles reported it in a way that’s interesting. And funny.
“Israel Tortures Autistic Child with Sandwiches, Flight on Gas-Guzzling Jet,” his headline read.
“The Jewish state of Israel has committed yet another genocidal war crime against humanity by sadistically torturing an autistic 22-year-old aboard an El Al deportation flight on Tuesday.”
Discipline is love, and what the world needs now is a lot more Love.
But most of all a good sense of humor.
Hold the line, America.
Stay strong, Patriots.
