Believe it or not, these are the things that got Elon Musk in trouble.
All because he decided to help Make America Not Crooked Again, and to do it for free.
Since then he has been mercilessly harassed, his businesses attacked, all by the same people who refused to stand to honor a 13-year-old boy who had brain cancer.
People who had no interest in wresting fraud and waste from the government.
The same people who became millionaires while working in the government, unlike this man who made his money the old-fashioned way, by earning it.
“They’re setting fires to various Tesla charging stations near Boston,” Larry Kudlow said in a March 10, 2025 interview with Musk.
“Shots were fired at a Tesla dealership in Oregon,” Kudlow said.
“Your stock is way down. You’ve been criticized left and right …Why are you doing this?”
“You have to look at the bright side of life,” Musk first said, then added, “We’ve got this enormous federal budget deficit, and it’s a $2 trillion dollar deficit.
“It keeps growing. Our interest payments are higher than the Defense Department budget. " he said when he realized what was happening.
“Which meant, if we didn’t do something about it, there would be no money for anything.
“I just don’t want America to go bankrupt.”
Interesting. That was something Joe never worried about, as he handed out money hand over fist.
But then again, it wasn’t his money.
In fact while Musk was finding and eliminating fraud and waste, Joe was busy finding a talent agency to represent him. And Newsom and Michelle Obama are working on launching podcasts.
As a last interview question, Kudlow asked Musk about something Joe has ignored for nine months, “Can you rescue the astronauts?”
“Yes,” Musk answered calmly. “We’re bringing them back in a few weeks.
And then said, “There’s not enough attention being paid to this.”
He also could have added that there isn’t enough attention being paid to fraud and waste by any elected officials.
And not nearly enough enthusiasm for stopping taxpayer money from going to questionable places.
I wonder why?
One thing that is for certain, Musk could have told Kudlow something similar to what President Trump said on the campaign trail.
“They’re not after me. They’re after Trump and you. I’m just in the way.”
