There’s something wrong about watching a war in real time on TV.

For one thing, it scares the kids.

The “kids” we’re referring to in the case of the current U.S. involvement in Iran, are elected officials Hakeem Jeffries and Ukraine President Zelensky.

These guys are unhappy. And scared. Not for the American or Ukrainian people, but for themselves.

Jeffries is fit to be tied. He knows Trump is right about the necessity for missile strikes in Iran. And he’s afraid Trump’s success will make Democrats look bad.

This week House Minority Leader Jeffries said, “The American people want us to focus on making their life better, and making their life more affordable, not getting involved in another endless war in the Middle East that is going to end in failure.”

Wait a minute! Hold on! Somethin’ ain’t right!

A vote of confidence for American failure from a U.S. Congressman?

Praise for Joe’s unaffordable inflation policies?

Support for the $19 billion dollars Joe and Obama sent to Iran?

As for President Zelensky, he’s always sad and mad that the U.S. won’t give him more money and freebie weapons.

The Diminutive Stand-up Comic leader does nothing to end his war, emphasis on “his war,” and yet, he remains annoyed at the United States.

After the U.S. mission Midnight Hammer, Zelensky told Italian newspaper Il Corriere della Sera, he saw a constriction of missile deliveries to Ukraine.

“The missile delivery programs for us were slowed down. Today, it hasn’t happened yet, but I fear it could happen again.  We could have difficulty obtaining missiles and weapons to defend our skies,” he whined.

Yeah, Zel. It’s called putting America first.

It’s hard to know what to say to Jeffries, a defender of anti-Semite Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan. A nephew of his anti-Semitic academic uncle Leonard Jeffries.

As for Zelensky, it’s time for him to solve his own problems with Russia.

During World War II, our entire country united behind the war effort and President Roosevelt.

Citizens tightened their belts.

Rosie the Riveter and other women went to work in the factories to build ships, aircraft and weapons, replacing the men who had left to fight for their country.

Families donated tires and pots and pans for needed rubber and metal.

And in Tinseltown, famous actors, not like Mark-Be-Good-Pin-Wearing-Ruffalo, left their careers, and enlisted.

Clark Gable, Jimmy Stewart, Paul Newman, Henry Fonda, and others.

Clark Gable’s wife, actress Carole Lombard, died on January16, 1942 when her plane crashed while on a U.S.  war bond selling tour.

It was a time that tried men’s souls. As it was in 1776.

The only comforting thought today is that Hakeem wasn’t around in 1776.

He’d have blocked Washington’s military strategies. And most likely the Revolution itself.

Just as today he, and other Congressmen are pushing for a war powers resolution vote this week which would block President Trump’s ability to use military force in Iran.

When Article 11 of the Constitution gives Trump the right as sole commander of the armed forces, according to former U.S. Attorney Joe di Genova and other Constitutional scholars. Hakeem should read the Constitution to which he swore an oath.

Just think…

If people like Hakeem were around in 1776, we’d all be Englishmen, eating fish and chips, (actually that's not that bad), but having to pay taxes to defend Prince Andrew’s Epstein escapades.

Instead we have Washington and Trump. That’s what "No More Kings" really means, son.

Hold the line, America. Stay strong, Patriots.
