Ignorance is bliss. Unfortunately, ignorance has become a cottage industry in our government.
It’s the reason we have a Communist mayor in New York City.
It’s the reason Barack Obama, Bernie Sanders, Ilhan Omar, Joe and Jill, Bill and Hill are billionaires, while they rail against the rich.
Reward bad behavior and you just get more of the same.
Hillary and Barack Obama and their minions operated our government like it was their own private oyster. Autopen ran the country.
China, Mexico, Somalia et al watched these weak, illegal, unpatriotic actions carefully, then smiled. “What a bunch of morons,” they said, and then it began: The illegals, COVID, the weather balloon, Chinese bio labs, transgenderism, college unrest, anti-Semitism.
But then came Donald Trump.
His greatest achievement was ripping back the curtain.
We all know more about how government works because of him.
For the first time in history, we know the names of Cabinet members.
We learned about government because we witnessed what Trump had to do to survive lawfare, impeachment, and assassination.
Now the situation has gotten so irrational that Congressmen and other Left Leaners are rooting for Iran in the U.S. military action there.
Like toddlers, we have elected officials who like to throw tantrums.
Yesterday Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) did some Limousine Liberal stupid, and Trump Derangement Syndrome to the max.
He texted “awesome” to reports that Iranian vessels had bypassed the U.S. blockade in the Strait of Hormuz.
It wasn’t true. But Murphy didn’t care. Truth and research aren’t the Left’s strong suit.
As Democrats, they feel it is their God-given right to be exempted from accountability.
Last week Squad Member Rep. Ilhan Omar surfaced to explain her $30-million-dollar income. “The accountant did it!” she shrieked. “It was a mistake.”
And now, new filings show assets of $95,000.
“The amended disclosure confirms the Congresswoman is not a millionaire,” her spokeswoman Jacklyn Rogers told the Wall Street Journal firmly.
Omar's lawyer explained to the Office of Congressional Conduct, “As the busiest of people, it is very common for members and their spouses to rely on learned professionals like accountants to make calculations.
“While the error is of course unfortunate, there is nothing untoward and nothing illegal has occurred.”
Except. Except before signing a financial disclosure form, the signer should read it. A Congresswoman would. To be sure. Of the accuracy.
And, of course, even in Somalia, ignorance of the law is never a defense.
Somalian-born, non-millionaire Omar didn’t talk about the Somalian crooks in her district. Neither did Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, both leading the Progressive Way, by ignoring the issue completely.
What Walz did do was waddle off to Spain.
He knew there were hard feelings between NATO-member Spain and Trump, after Spain denied use of shared military bases for the U.S. Iran military action, and he jumped on it.
“Back in the United States,” Walz shouted to the assembled crowd at the Global Progressive Mobilization Summit in Barcelona, “we’re seeing an alarming consolidation of power.
“A massive paramilitary force terrorizing our communities…a methodical weakening of our free press, of the independent judiciary, of fair elections and all other institutions of accountability.”
The Progressive shill didn’t tell the audience about the California Democrat “Stop Nick Shirley” law proposed in Democrat Gavin Newsom’s California targeting investigative reporters and the free press. Or illegal immigration.
And he didn’t mention the fraud in his own state.
Instead, at time of U.S. war, he said, “We’ve got a feeble-minded, trigger-happy president who plunged us into a war where no threat was present, with no clear objectives and no exit plan.”
He did this while there were tense, ongoing negotiations between the U.S. and Iran ahead of expiration of the ceasefire this week.
While Iranian citizens were being hanged, and Trump interceded to save them.
But Walz didn’t care. Bad behavior just begets more of the same. And treason is always treason.
Hold the line, America. Stay strong, Patriots.
