"I know it is the holiday period in our Western countries, but when people are dying, you must come back from vacation.” French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius

I don’t know about you, but I’m so proud, I’m busting my buttons!
We have a president who is fearless!
I was moved to tears when our president was able to pull a brave smile right after speaking to the American people about American journalist James Foley’s beheading.
He did not let those Muslim terrorists scare him away from that golf course in Martha’s Vineyard! That would have meant the terrorists won.
And I ask you, would it have done any good if ISIS saw a picture of Obama, sitting at his desk in the White House instead of smiling at them from his golf cart, on the front page of The Daily News?
Of course not.
Or if they saw him consoling James Foley’s parents in the Rose Garden the way he did with Bowe Bergdahl’s folks?
Who wants that?
If Obama came back to work, the terrorists would only think he was taking their threats seriously; that he was reading the reports about ISIS collaborating with Mexican cartels and infiltrating our border.
What good would that do?
Congress is on vacation. The president’s only been in office seven years. What could he possibly do about closing down our borders to terrorists?
It’s not like it’s an "urgent humanitarian situation” like the illegal children crossing our borders.
No. As Obama and the rest of his administration have said, it’s all about the children.
Isn’t it?
It’s not about our national security.
Is it?
Sadly "the optics" are so bad this time around even the French have weighed in.
French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius urged support in Iraq after returning from a trip there. He said, "when people are dying, you must come back from vacation.”
And that's impressive. After all, you know how the French love their long vacations!
But, wait. Is the French foreign minister saying he thinks our president doesn’t know what’s what?
Doesn’t he know that Obama included Anas Altikriti, a senior lobbyist for the Muslim Brotherhood, in a visit to the White House this February to discuss ongoing political problems in Iraq?
Some objected. They said Altikriti’s work has been tied to Hamas, a radical Islamic extremist group, a group labeled a "terrorist organization.”
But, heck, does everyone have to be a critic?
Our president is fair and balanced. And if he’s adamant about anything, he is adamant about never trashing Islam.
Why just this week, in his speech about James Foley he said, "No faith teaches people to massacre innocents.”
But of course the Muslim terrorists’ faith does. They even have a flag.
Still he and Hill are firm in their commitment to the safety of Muslims. And they don’t just pay lip service to fairness – to Muslims.
Remember back in 2011? He and Hill were over the moon in support of the Arab Spring.
Secretary of State Hill said the administration would "work with ascendant Islamist parties of the Muslim world,” offering a "forthright embrace of the democratic changes enveloping North Africa and the Middle East.”
Yes. She did.
And she emphatically explained "what parties call themselves is less important to us than what they actually do.”
Yes. It is.
So it’s clear the administration has its finger on the pulse of what’s what, including ISIS.
Isn’t it?
I know I was reassured to hear the president say the "U.S. will continue to do what it must to protect Americans” following James Foley’s death, because I know how well he has done that in the past.
So how couldn’t I be proud to see that the president and attorney general put Ferguson, Mo., right at the top of their priority list, while ISIS is panting at our borders?
I couldn’t.
Holder had to go to Ferguson. Who else from the federal government would you trust more to calm things down in a local, state issue than Eric Holder? You know his track record.
Rev. Al was already there. The entire CNN staff was already there. But who, other than Holder would make sure justice was carried out there?
That’s in Ferguson, not Chicago. Pay attention!
The president saw there was a smidgen of scandal in Ferguson, so he and his top cop pulled out all the stops, called in 40 FBI agents, the whole nine yards.
Even the National Guard was called in. No, not on the border.
In Missouri.
Sure, maybe the president had already criticized the police in Ferguson, but he tried to be fair. "I don’t want to look like I’m putting my finger on the scales one way or another,” he said. And the people were glad.
He could have said "if he had a son, he would have looked like Michael Brown.”
But who could blame him one way or another? It was a true emergency, worthy of federal attention of the highest order.
Not like the border situation.
Because when it comes to racism and police brutality in America, these two men, Barack Obama and Eric Holder, are second to none.
Not like Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio who foolishly is keeping track of illegal immigrants who have been arrested and released again and again. Felons. Gang members. Maybe terrorists like ISIS.
How silly is that? That’s probably why the president and the AG don’t consult him about border problems.
Instead our AG is compiling data on racial profiling and police misconduct.
It’s his job.
I know, I know. You’re going to bring up the "Obama Scandals,” the ones Holder didn’t follow up on.
And the Black Panthers intimidation of voters in Philadelphia, the lawsuit Holder dropped right before sentencing, right before the 2008 presidential election.
And yes, I know, it’s a coincidence, but there is an election just up the road now, too.
But forget all that for a minute, because, trust me, he’s forgotten about it.
Holder and Obama and Sharpton and CNN know the score. Cops across America are out of control and pose a grave threat to Americans. It’s called white on black crime and it’s "rampant,” and it’s "everywhere,” they tell us.
Where? They never said. I guess the last one was the Rodney King riots in Los Angeles in 1992. You remember. They didn’t say where else.
Black on black crime, like in Chicago today doesn’t interest Holder or Obama or Sharpton that much because, well, it just doesn’t.
So I have an idea: How about all of the "racially prejudiced” police officers in this country take a "leave of absence,” with pay, the way Lois Lerner, late of the IRS, did?
Then communities beset with racially unmixed and unbalanced police forces won’t have the police to kick around anymore.
They won’t have to cope with racially prejudiced police officers.
When they call 911, they won’t have to worry about prejudiced police coming to arrest and murder without probable cause.
And they won’t have to march and protest for replacement of unfair prosecutors like St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney Robert McCulloch, whom "they” say will not be impartial in handling the
Michael Brown investigation because McCulloch said he would wait until all the facts were in.
Who wants facts? The president and attorney general never let facts get in the way of their opinions before. Why would they want them now?
So, yes, I fully support the president and the attorney general's decision to turn their attention away from Muslim terrorists like ISIS and away from our borders, to focus on the rampant racism in Ferguson, Mo.
After all, ISIS probably won’t really do what they say they’re going to do.
No, what will happen is that ISIS will probably see the caliber of our president’s leadership, from his Penchant for Golf and Vacations, to his Peculiar Pecking Order of Priorities and turn away from our borders in fear.
Our president thinks that's what they will do, that is, when he thinks about them at all.
So hey, Mainstream Media. After all those years of protecting Obama, how do you like him now?
Hold the line, America.
