What makes a good man? What makes a man stick by his principles, no matter the cost? In New York there are some troubling things going on. There is to be a mayoral election in November, and yet on media outlets, hosts are saying who will, and who won't win.

I think, "How dare they?" is a good response by anyone who loves liberty, and fair play. Today President Trump announced that he basically backs Andrew Cuomo for mayor. He's offering current Mayor Adams a position in the federal government if he will step aside and let Cuomo theoretically have a chance to win.

That doesn't seem right. It's all in an effort to prevent Communist Mamdani from winning. Republican Candidate Curtis Sliwa wasn't even given the time of day. Because someone said he couldn't win. Probably the same guy who said Britain was too tough to beat.

Trump has endorsed New Jersey gubernatorial candidate Jack Ciatterelli, even though Ciatterelli was clear about not liking Trump in years past. But Trump chose J.D. Vance, too. And Vance was very clear about his disdain for Trump.

So what would you call this? It isn't survival of the fittest, or selection of the best. It looks like ill-advised voter tampering. instead of waiting for the election night returns. And the people are the losers. Imagine. More Cuomo!
