“Live for today.” That’s good advice, because actually, what else have you got but today? But here’s a “for instance” for not doing that. Not living for today.
We were all upset when Trump was being persecuted by the likes of Fani Willis. Alvin Bragg. Letisha James. Liz Cheney. Nancy Pelosi. It was horrible because we knew elections could be fixed, and that the Left would do anything to stop Trump.
And they have. He survived two assasination attempts, and lawsuits too numerous to keep track of. But here's the problem. We have a president who multi-tasks in a way that makes the phrase itself sound inadequate. After a president who couldn't find his way off a stage. Yet, Republicans and conservative talking heads can’t stop talking about Democrats.
"Who is the leader of the Party?" "Will Gavin Newsom run for president?"
The media is to blame. The 24/7 news coverage. It makes "hopscotch reporting" the way news is reported. And it results in a president we should tnank God for every day, being taken for granted, his accomplishments ignored. It's like the bad parent who chides her kid for getting an A and asks why it wasn't an A-plus. We need to stop and smell the roses.
Hang tough.
