Nancy slipped and broke her hip. But are we cheering? Of course not. Anyone who's a stand-up guy would never applaud another person's pain.
I could be wrong, but the Winds of Change seem to be blowing. Nancy's a formidable opponent. She's a pistol. And you have to admire that. But she's getting to the point where this might not be what she's supposed to be doing anymore. Just saying. She has been an ardent public servant, even if it wasn't what we would want.
Pelosi was heckled by the crowd for over a minute while plugging her new book, The Art of Power, during an interview with Katie Couric in October.
"Don't worry. I'm used to it. I'm from San Francisco," she said with a dismissive wave of her hand. But maybe she shouldn't be "used to it." Her district in San Francisco is in shameful condition, and she does nothing about it. Maybe she should start doing the job of representing her constituents. Just a thought.
Nevetheless, we have to admit that it wouldn't be as much fun without Nancy around. So we wish her all the best in healing her way back to health. Seeing her deal with Trump in the White House will be worth the price of admission!
Hang tough.
