So what exactly is an elected official expected to do? The answer is not whatever Gov. Newsom and his Band of Merry Men do in California.

Gavin may not have been fiddlin' like Nero in Rome, but he has succeeded in burning Los Angeles to the ground, while LA Mayor Karen Bass helped protect citizens by being AWOL in Ghana.

Bone dry fire hydrants were reported as Gavin Newsom visited the scene of the fires, and stood by with his hands in his pockets. He doesn't know what to do. The new Fire Chief is what he and Democrats want, but she doesn't know what to do, either.
