Sen. Rand Paul was interviewed on WMAL today. A D.C. station, and the host, a very capable journalist, Vince Coglianese talked about Trump's upcoming parade. This Saturday, ostensibly to celebrate the 250th birthday of the Army.

He was surprised when Sen. Paul expressed his disapproval of the event. "But it's in support of the troops," the host sputtered. "We do that on Veterans Day and Memorial Day," Sen. Paul said, adding that he believes the military should be supported. But the display of military might is something other nations do, he added. And he said he wasn't for it.

I agree. The last thing we need is to look like North Korea and China and Russia. Why would we do that? We shouldn't. Not to mention the tab is about $4 million dollars. At a time like this in our country when money is needed in so many other places, why would you do this?

And, now it seems the parade has enraged radical leftist groups who are promising to cause havoc all over the country on that day. That can't be good. Can it?

Hang tough.
