It's disappointing the way our elected Congressmen do their jobs. It is never the season for them to consider what is best for the country, or to support an elected president. It's simply not in their DNA. But what is unacceptable is their ignorance. They fight against talking turkey to Iran, the way they object to illegal immigrants being punished for killing American citizens.

The only thing Congress should be doing now is supporting the president in his efforts to protect the U.S. from a frighteningly militant, radical terror-sponsoring country. We had a plane shot down behind enemy lines. Both members of the miltary were rescued. Democrats and Trump haters didn't even pause in their "I Hate Trump" harrangue to comment. To give thanks.

But we all know what the savage leaders in Iran would have done to the colonel who was  shot down if they found him. Apparently Democrats in Congress don't think about things like that. About real people. They say they bleed for people, but only in the abstract.

Hang tough.
