New Yorkers didn't buy deBlasio's Snitch Hotline. It would have been okay in North Korea or China, but not here. Americans aren't stupid and the Hotline bit the dust.

But not before some New Yorkers sent amusing phone calls and memes to tell Comrade  deBlasio what he could do with of his Hotline.

It's similar to Red Flag laws. The possibility of abuse is too great.

Governors are elected. By the people. And when they are elected they swear an Oath of Office,  to uphold the Constitution.

So don't accept any elected official who Power Grabs, taking advantage of a national emergency. 

And certainly do not stand for a governor who willy nilly, helter skelter, abolishes your Constitutional Rights because, he chuckles, to consider the Bill of Rights "is above his pay grade.

Hang tough.

FDR's Fireside Chats were the way through for Americans during the Depression.

He advised against Fear. He offered Hope in a Hopeless time.

He was the president of all Americans.

Today we have a strong leader once again, but partisanship has relegated him to the sidelines, deprived of the praise he should receive.

Yesterday, the president made the manufacture and retail sale of guns and ammunition a federal essential industry.

He knows that these frightening times can eat away at the Constitutional rights of Americans, in the name of "protecting" them.

Hang tough.
