"Last year we said, ‘Things can’t go on like this,’ and they didn’t. They got worse."

The Teachers’ Unions are looking out for the teachers.
City mayors are looking out for the gay community.
Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Ca) is looking out for Sharia Law, pledging her support of it at a town hall meeting at the Islamic Society of Orange County.
Rep. Andre Carson (D-In) is looking out for Madrassas, insisting at an Islamic Circle of North America convention that this Muslim school system based on the Koran is one upon which American schools should be modeled. (What to say to that?)
Congress, John McCain and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton are looking out for Anthony Weiner’s wife, Huma Abedin, worried sick about the chilling effect any inquiry into Ms. Abedin’s background might have on Muslim participation in American government. -- All this while Israel is worried about being blown up by Iran’s nuclear weapons.
And Homeland Security isn’t looking out for anybody.
Is anybody out there doing the job they were elected to do? Is anybody looking out for you?
During his term in office, President Obama and his New Democrat Party have worked deliberately and methodically, turning their attention to each sector of American life, in a concerted, orchestrated effort to dismantle and neutralize the country: border security, healthcare, religious freedom, military funding, energy growth, and private business enterprise.
Offering protection to those whom they choose to protect, thanks to Obama’s efforts "Dreamers” in Arizona need not obey the only part of HB 1070 left and have carte blanche to do whatever they darn well please and government entities in California now think eminent domain should extend to whatever they darn well want.
It is America turned upside down and it’s sweet music to Obama’s ears.
This lawless, Socialist-created environment has allowed all sorts of strange civil disobedience to flourish. The latest is government use of its power by the mayors of Boston, San Francisco, Chicago and Washington, D. C. to strong-arm a private business, Chick-fil-A, in an effort to discredit and ruin the company and censor free speech.
Obama’s right hand man, Mayor Rahm Emanuel was one of the usual suspects, indignantly and proudly stating that Chick-fil-A’s CEO’s support of traditional marriage did not reflect "Chicago values.” He said this while publically praising anti-Semite, anti-Christian, Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan’s presence in the city to fight Chicago’s ever-rising wave of crime.
"We need people of faith like Louis Farrakhan,” Emanuel said, giving the "Chicago Way” a whole new meaning.
           Al Capone would be insulted.
Boston Mayor Thomas Menino’s take on the whole thing was to promise he would use his power as mayor to block a Chick-fil-A restaurant from opening in Boston.
"Chick-fil-A doesn’t belong in Boston,” Menino told the Boston Herald. "You can’t have a business in the city of Boston that discriminates against the population…And we’re not going to have a company, Chick-fil-A or whatever the (expletive) the name is, on our Freedom Trail." Oxymoron.
"Hate chicken” was the way D.C. Mayor Vincent Gray saw the chicken sandwich operation. "Given my longstanding strong support for LGBT rights and marriage equality, I would not support hate chicken…Why would I want one of those in the District?”
And San Francisco Mayor Lee was just happy that the nearest Chick-fil-A to his city was 40 miles away, strongly recommending "that they not try to come any closer.”
Distasteful? Sure. But predictable in the current political atmosphere, set firmly in place by the president.
And it was familiar. None of these elected officials involved sounded like they had ever read the U.S. Constitution or heard of First Amendment rights, much less taken oaths of office to protect either.
They heard the word "gay” and circled the wagons.
Fair-minded people know Chick-fil-A was never about gay marriage vs. traditional marriage. It was always about the First Amendment.
Matthew McReynolds, an attorney with the Pacific Justice Institute called objections to Chick-fil-A unfounded.
"This is just alarming when you stop and think about the fact that what is being targeted here is not any action that Chick-fil-A has taken to exclude anybody from their restaurant. They’ve complied with every anti-discrimination law out there.
"What they’re being targeted for is simply their speaking out on behalf of traditional marriage, which continues to be overwhelmingly supported by the American people. We’re in a very dangerous place in America if you can’t even speak out as a business owner in support of traditional marriage.”
Yes, indeedy. We’re in a dangerous place.
Take Mayor Emanuel for instance. Chicago has enough problems, with the third worst numbers for unemployment in the nation, and a 30 percent spike in the city’s murder rate much of it gang-related homicides. But somehow the mayor was still able to dig down deep and firmly remind gang-bangers to remember their values.
Even after a seven-year-old little girl was killed in a crossfire, the mayor told CBS’s Scott Pelley it wasn’t about crime, it was about values.
Illinois like many other states has "Sanctuary Cities,” in fact Chicago is one of them. They are communities of illegal aliens protected by local governments. They are illegal and provide a continuous breeding ground for crime.
And they don’t bother Mayor Emanuel one bit.
Cleaning up these pockets of illegal aliens would give the mayor something important, necessary and admirable to do.
But he doesn’t. Mayor Lee doesn’t. San Francisco is also a Sanctuary City along with 33 other California cities.
But that doesn’t bother Mayor Lee one bit, either.
Despite the fact that there is a 1996 federal law requiring local governments to cooperate with the Department of Homeland Security’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement, (the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigration Responsibility Act), sanctuary cities instruct city employees not to notify the federal government of the presence of illegal aliens living in their communities.
Mayor Gray is one of them. He defied the federal law by signing an order prohibiting the city’s police department from inquiring about a person’s immigration status and the D.C. city council by passing a law instructing local police to ignore requests from federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement to hold people who have been arrested for low-level crimes.
Even though it is the job of elected officials to enforce all laws, to protect all the citizens of the United States entrusted to their care, these mayors don’t and by doing nothing are sending a message.
When these mayors can ignore illegal immigrants living in their midst, when they can embrace hate-mongers like Louis Farrakhan and still find the time to target and persecute a private, legitimate business, we get the message they are sending.
Remember, folks, today it is Chick-fil-A, tomorrow it’s you. Ask Gibson Guitars.
            Hold the line, America.
