There was a time we had not heard of, nor did we know the meaning of, the word "Jihad." But now we do.
Last week radical Islamist Linda Sarsour was back in the headlines, this time urging "Jihad" against President Trump. And we knew what she meant.
Those who would do us harm have boldly used our Constitution to spread their hatred of America, and this anti-Semitic, sharia law activist is no different.
Sarsour is pedaling the same brand of Islamic propaganda we have been hearing from Barack Obama for eight years, and Americans have simply had enough.
After that business in Troy, the American people know a Trojan horse when they see one.
Today our country is under attack, and it is more important than ever that we confront those who want to destroy our way of life. And when we do confront, we must make it clear that we will not defend ourselves against their accusations of "Islamaphobia," and "racism."
Not any more.
They hate us because we are fortunate enough to have a Constitution which protects all religions, the press, and everyone, even those who hate our country. It is those hate-mongers who love our First Amendment the most, and who use its protection to undermine us.
So why not call them out? Like New York City Mayor DeBlasio, formerly known as Warren Wilhelm, Jr.
This mayor had the gall to parade his contempt for America, his city and President Trump, by jetting off to Hamburg to join anarchists rioting in the streets, and protesting against our president at the G20 Conference.
He used the fully-underwritten trip to criticize President Trump's politics in a keynote address to his sponsors, Hamburg Zeigt Haltung (Hamburg Shows Attitude).
While in Germany, he was unapologetic about missing an NYPD swearing-in ceremony at the Police Academy in Queens, and a vigil for one of his city's police officers, Officer Miosotis Familia, who was assassinated in the line of duty.
From Sen. Kristen Gillibrand (D-NY), who praised Linda Sarsour in a Time magazine article, to Bill DeBlasio who awarded Sarsour a $500,000 grant from the city of New York, it's time to question what Liberals in general, and Democrats in particular, stand for.
Our country is being systematically assaulted by people determined to destroy it, and the Democrats seem to be all for it, while Republicans stand by and say nothing.
Linda Sarsour is a dangerous woman. She wants to replace our Constitution with sharia law, and used the Women's March on Washington 2017 to stump for a legal system which victimizes women;
She called for Jihad in her address to the Islamic Society of North America, an organization founded by Muslim Brotherhood members. And Time magazine defended her.
In that address, she singled out Siraj Wajjah, an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, as her "favorite person in the room," and on other occasions, stated she believes America is a nation "built on the values of genocide and slavery," and that "nothing is creepier than Zionism."
One only has to harken to history to know that the Ottoman Empire's sole mission was to spread Islam to "infidels," like you and me. Nothing's changed. That's Jihad.
The destruction of our country's values, and culture, and basic precepts has gotten tremendous support, from a Leftist media, Liberals, Democrats, political correctness, and now, of all things, the AP Stylebook.
The Stylebook is the reporter's bible. It tells the writer "How To." How to write the proper military title for a general. How to address the Queen of England, in an article.
And now it's helping the Left by telling reporters "How Not To."
In 2017 a reporter is instructed, write "anti-abortion," not "pro-life."
Say "militant," "lone wolf," or "attacker," rather than "terrorist" or "Islamist."
Use the phrase, "people struggling to enter Europe," not the words "migrant," or "refugee," "illegal alien" or "immigrant." Really.
Like the Trojan horse that was gladly welcomed within Troy's city gates, to its everlasting destruction, it is time for Americans to see the dangerous "Trojan horses" in our midst, to watch our own city gates. And to heed the warning, "Beware of Greeks bearing gifts."
Hold the line, America.
