Even Shakespeare hated lawyers.
Some are greedy, unprincipled scoundrels.
A lot of them are liberals.
There are some who persevere in the pursuit of justice until they just can't anymore, opting out, and, like Jennifer Lawrence, saying, "I want to get a farm. I want to be, like, milking goats."
And there are many more good ones. They're the ones who hate lawyers like Robert Mueller and James Comey.
They know law men are supposed to enforce the law and pursue justice.
Rudy Giuliani knew how to do it. So did Thomas Dewey.
But Mueller and Comey don't. They can't figure out who the bad guys are. Or maybe they just don't want to.
Giuliani and Dewey both upheld the law.
Rudy successfully prosecuted New York's crime families, Wall Street white collar criminals and political corruption as U.S. attorney. With a conviction record of 4,152, he was billed as one of the most famous law enforcement officials in the U.S.
As U.S. and New York special prosecutor, Dewey brought down kingpin Lucky Luciano in the 1930s, and put the "Murder Incorporated" assassination-for-hire enterprise out of commission, earning himself the nickname, "Gangbuster."
Unhappily for us, former FBI directors, Comey and Mueller don't come out as bright and shiny as Rudy and Dewey. And you'd think they would.
Everyone loved Comey and Mueller. Praise was effusive. They were "above reproach," "straight arrows."
"If anyone can stay on course and not be deterred by the whims of politics," former U.S. Attorney General Ashcroft said, "it's Bob Mueller." And Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) agreed.
"Former Director Mueller is exactly the right kind of individual for this job. I now have significantly greater confidence that the investigation will follow the facts wherever they lead."
So what went wrong?
Who knows.
And maybe, just maybe, someone should have known something was wrong when Comey said he wanted to blend in with the drapes in the Blue Room, to hide from Donald Trump, when the was forced to attend a meeting honoring law enforcement officers after the Inauguration.
Not very FBI-ish.
Or when he leaked secret notes about President Trump to his buddy, who then leaked it to The New York Times, manipulating events so that Comey's buddy, Robert Mueller, would be appointed special counsel for the Russian Investigation.
Not very nice.
And, amazing as it may be, as special counsel, Mueller was allowed to load his team with Trump-haters. He was never made to recuse himself, despite the "palsy-walsy" relationship he had with Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, the man who appointed him, and James Comey, who is himself a witness in Mueller's investigation.
How does stuff like this happen? And how is it that the term "coup d'état" is now in common usage? When speaking about whatever is going on in our government? In our country?
The only thing that is surprising about Mueller, is that he missed putting attorney Lisa Bloom on his team.
Not falling far from the apple tree, Gloria Alred's daughter has been busy, lining up women to accuse Trump of sexual misconduct, promising to cross their palms with silver. She would have been an incredible asset to him.
Just like Lisa Page and Peter Strzok, and other Swamp Creatures:
It's become public, that both of them are FBI employees, Trump haters, Democrats and lovers, who, with arrogant disregard, flaunted their biased disdain for the president in thousands of e-mails, while participating in an investigation involving the president;
Strrzok's wife, Melissa Hodgman works for the SEC, and was appointed by Obama;
Mueller's team attorney Andrew Weissmann, known for his excessively aggressive prosecutorial tactics, most recently displayed in his "No Knock" invasion into the home of Paul Manafort, attended Hillary's "I-Didn't-Get-Elected Party" at the Javits Center, and sent an e-mail congratulating acting Attorney General Sally Yates on her refusal to defend President Trump's travel ban...While participating in an investigation involving the president.
It don't get no better than that.
This "Pit Bull" of the Mueller investigation is as arrogant as the rest of the Obama hold-overs. He is described by The New York Times as an expert in "flipping defendants into collaboration -- with either tactical brilliance or overzealousness, depending on one's perspective."
I wonder what Michael Flynn's perspective is? Brilliant or overzealous?
These are the people we are paying to be in our government, doing what they do.
The good news is this is not Venezuela, or any country that has a coup d'état. So members of the Deep State will end up not winning anything, just like the women they covered up for. And, soon, they're gonna' hear that famous Trump phrase, "You're fired!"
These pipsqueaks think they can disrespect and destroy Donald Trump, just as they believed Hillary would win. But we're not worried about him. He knows how to win, and he eats guys like them for breakfast.
And when it comes to the people who voted for him, we eat them for lunch.
