"The key to being happy isn't the search for meaning. It's keeping yourself busy with unimportant nonsense and eventually you'll be dead." Mr. Peanut Butter, BoJack Horseman

          Namby-pamby never flies. Liberals know that. That's why they never do it.

          But Conservatives? That's a different story.

          They defend. They explain. Something you're never supposed to do.

          And they can't wait to roll over and play dead, especially if they are Congressmen with a majority in both Houses and a Republican president in the White House.

          While Republican Congressmen wear Self-Effacement like a badge of honor, you can stand Liberals at the Gates of Hell, and they won't back down.

          The words, "I'm sorry...She should be sorry...They ought to be sorry..." will never pass the lips of a Liberal Democrat.

          Not even when the FBI and intelligence community thumbs its nose at American citizens and protects Crooked Hillary.

          They're terminally arrogant and don't care what you think.

          Rep. Keith Ellison, (D-Minn.), deputy chair of the DNC, unabashedly dined with Nation of Islam Leader Louis Farrakhan, and Iran's "State Sponsor of Terrorism" President Hassan Rouhani;

          Barack Obama and the Congressional Black Caucus mugged for the camera with the America-Hating-Anti-Semite Farrakhan, and asked the photographer to keep it under wraps;

          And twenty-one members of the Caucus refused to denounce Farrakhan, and would stare down anyone who questioned their judgment.

          Conversely, if an Islamic terrorist beheads an American, Conservative Congressmen will hasten to say, "This was an Islamic terrorist, but that's not to say there aren't good, moderate Muslims."

          And when there is irrefutable evidence that head honchos in the FBI have illegally sneered, smeared and spied on Donald Trump, with the blessings of a former president, Conservative Congressmen will say, "There were people at the top involved in a conspiracy against the president, but the rank and file FBI agents are great guys."

          But maybe they aren't.

          And maybe there aren't any good, moderate Muslims.

          It's worth asking.

          Emotions and behaviors are contagious. That's what UC San Diego's James Fowler and Harvard's Nicholas Christakis found in their research.

          Happiness is contagious. And if you have overweight friends, you're likely to become a fatty, too.

          So why wouldn't anti-Trump, treasonous actions in the FBI trickle down to its field offices?

          Some Congressmen should look into that.

          We live in an unsavory environment, created by the Obama-Deep-State-Shadow Government, and supported by the mainstream media. Now, all sorts of unsavory behaviors have reared their ugly heads.

          In Chicago, a group, "Assata's Daughters" battles police violence. The young African-American women's group is named after Assata Shakur.

          Which sounds okay. African roots.

          Except that "Assata Shakur" is really Joanne Chesimard. A former Black Panther. Convicted in 1977 for the first degree murder of N.J. State Trooper Werner Foerster. Currently hiding in Cuba after escaping prison.

          In Washington, D.C., Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) advocated for illegal immigrants in her stilettos, and Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) shut down the government for them, while middle-class Americans lived paycheck to paycheck to pay for welfare for those illegal immigrants. Grateful to be here, the DACA kids protested and threatened Americans, with signs that basically said, "Hell, no. We ain't going nowhere."

          Our First Amendment is a great tool for these wacky types.

          As a result, Conservatives like Ben Shapiro have been silenced on Liberal college campuses.

          "Love," as in Valentine's Day, has been banned in public schools as a "dominant holiday," not "inclusive of the student population."

          Who knew?

          And the 2018 Olympics have been turned into an American Media Droolfest over Kim Jong-un's sister.

          She's the gal in charge of propaganda back in North Korea, who is currently backlisted by the U.S. for her association in human rights abuses. Nonetheless, she's tops in The New York Times' book.

          That's why it was swell to hear Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AK) this week.

          You remember him. He's the guy who took on Chuck Schumer when Schumer broke his word to deliver a confirmation vote for Trump's CIA pick, then told Cotton if Cotton had been around eight years earlier, he'd know that Republicans didn't extend that courtesy for incoming president Barack Obama.

          "Eight years ago I was getting my ass shot at in Afghanistan," Cotton retorted, "so don't talk to me about where I was eight years ago."

          This week Cotton had another succinct opinion, this time about DACA.

          "Their parents are the ones who made the choice to come here illegally, with their minor children. They created the problem in the first place.

          "The entire rationale for this program, according to Barack Obama, is that children ought not to pay for the sins of their parents. But surely parents can pay for the sins of the parents."

           Makes sense to me.

           Hold the line, America.
