"With all of Obama's rhetorical brilliance and flash, he went into the phone both as Superman, and came out as Clark Kent." Fred I. Greenstein, Presidential Historian

Islamic terrorists must wonder what they have to do to catch a break in America.

No matter how hard they try, our president won't give them credit.

Even when the Orlando terrorist dialed 911 during his killing rampage, pledged allegiance to ISIS, its leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, and gave a respectful mention to the Boston Marathon bombers, our president and attorney general shook their heads and said, "There is no evidence that this is Islamic terrorism."

Even when that terrorist's co-worker reported him to his superior at G4S Security, nothing was done. He is a Muslim, they said. It wouldn't look right, they said.

It's true. It wouldn't look right, because, according to his co-worker, Daniel Gilroy, he "talked about killing people all the time."

"I complained multiple times that he was dangerous, that he didn't like blacks, women, lesbians and Jews," Gilroy said.

But the company he worked for did nothing.

"Profiling" is frowned upon by this administration, so if you see something, saying something doesn't fly, not when the "something" is a Muslim.

But that doesn't keep "Islamic terrorists" from trying.

"Look at me, look at me," they say, killing and maiming. And the president's policies give them a pass.

The FBI, after two interviews with the nightclub shooter, in 2012 and 2013, said, "Nothing to see here. Don't worry, be happy."

In 24 hours after the shooting, the media had more luck than the FBI in tracking down the path the terrorist travelled, on his Islamic terrorist way to the fatal shooting in Orlando, which left 49 people dead.

It was the media who uncovered the fact that while at Martin County High School, this mass murderer cheered in support of the 9/11 terrorists.

The media found this out. Not the FBI.

When this terrorist attempted to buy Level 3 Body Armor and bulk ammunition in a Florida gun shop, in May, then made a phone call, speaking in Arabic, co-owner Robbie Abdell said he called the FBI directly. But the matter fell through the cracks.

The media reported that. Not the FBI.

It might have something to do with the words "Islamic Terrorist," and "Muslim" being scrubbed from all administration documents, including the FBI's. So it's not the FBI's fault. They just don't know who it is they are looking for, because the enemy has no name.

These are the president's Rules of Engagement. And they don't stop there.

Making sure Muslims and Islam are never insulted is first and foremost in the mind of this administration. To this end the Department of Justice and the president decided the best thing for them to do in the Orlando case was to redact the terrorist's actual words from the 911 call.

All traces of ties to Islam were removed from his rants, and "God" was strangely replaced for the word "Allah" in the transcript.

"God" and "Allah," it was argued, they're both the same thing. That's what was argued.

Our president wanted to make sure that Muslims would not be painted with a broad brush.

          And who wouldn't want that?

As Attorney General Loretta Lynch said, they decided to change the text to avoid "revictimizing."

Some say she should be removed from office. But whether we agree or we don't, "scrubbing" is the way this administration has chosen to go.

Scrubbing policy documents of any mention of "Islamic terrorism" and "Muslims," so Muslims won't feel bad, is part of it.

Tying the FBI's hands so that mosques cannot be monitored; making citizens afraid to "say something when they see something," is another part of it.

It was reported that even in the Pentagon, the words cannot be uttered. Identifying the enemy has always been a prudent course of action. But the president disagrees, which makes it hard to fight a war when it is against a phantom enemy combatant.

"What difference does it make what we call them? It's just a political talking point," he scoffs, bristling at Donald Trump's accusation that he, and Hillary should say the words describing who the enemy is.

But he won't. And she won't.

So the Islamic terrorists keep trying, killing and maiming, and the president's policies give them a pass.

From what we've seen, you can't say the terrorists aren't doing their job. They are, but the president and attorney general? They are not.

In case they have forgotten their oath of office, their job is to protect the "Good Guys," and punish the "Bad Guys."

And from what we've seen in the Orlando mass massacre, by an admitted Islamic terrorist, the president and his attorney general have got it all wrong.

         Hold the line, America.
