You'd think they would have done it sooner. Walked away from the Democrat Party.
You'd think they would have asked, "What have you done for me lately?"
But this week some Black Americans waved good-bye to a Party that never gave a damn. About them.
It's their Brexit.
Black conservatives met at Turning Point USA's Young Black Leadership Summit in D.C., and said, "We want more."
Candace Owen led the meeting. She's the black woman Democrats most fear. Because she talks like Trump.
"There is no value in being a victim. There is no value in being oppressed." That's her message.
And it's a message that scares the pants off Democrats. After all, they're the folks who make their living out of keeping an oppressed, government dependent underclass alive and kicking.
"They don't like to see black people who are free thinkers and are independent," Owens says. "For too long we have been used as pawns, and Black Lives Matter is an example of that. They are pawns of the Democrat Party, who go out and ruin their lives for something they don't even understand. And which is false."
She's right. In eight years, the Obama administration did nothing to help the black community. Did nothing about the crime in Chicago. And most of the Black Congressional Caucus hobnobs with Nation of Islam/Jew-hating leader Lewis Farrakhan.
Including Obama.
Over the past months, Obama has campaigned for Socialist-Democrat Gubernatorial candidates Andrew Gillum in Florida, and Stacy Abrams in Georgia. Both support open borders, policies which make life tougher for black American citizens.
How different is this from being back on the Plantation?
It's a Quid Pro Quo arrangement between Socialist Democrats and illegal immigrants. "We'll let you into our country, illegally, then you pick the cotton (vote for us), and we will take care of your needs.
"We'll give you drivers licenses, so you can work. You can go on welfare. And we'll give you healthcare. And you won't have to pay for it, because we have American-citizen-taxpayers for that.
Recently Democrat Hillary Clinton was given a pass with a chuckle and a grin after Recode's Kara Swisher confused Sen. Cory Booker with former Attorney General Eric Holder.
Hillary nodded, "I know," she laughed. "They all look alike."
The mainstream media didn't give the Turning Point USA meeting much coverage. And they never speak of any flaws in Democrat leaders. But they did give lots of coverage to the shooting at the Tree of Life Temple in Pittsburgh. And it was all anti-Trump.
You'd think Jewish Americans also would have done it sooner. Walked away. From the Democrat Party. But they didn't.
And they didn't ask Democrats, "What have you done for me lately?" Instead they blamed President Trump for the massacre of 11 Jews in Pittsburgh. And this the media covered from stem to stern.
Well, not entirely. They left out the part where those who protested the president's visit were not your run of the mill Jew. It was a group called Bend the Arc.
Headed up by George Soros' son, Alexander.
So it was no surprise President Trump was told he wasn't welcome in their city, by them, but not by Rabbi Myers, the man who witnessed the tragic event.
"The president of the United States is always welcome," he said. "I'm a citizen. He's my president. He is certainly welcome."
Bend the Arc accused the president of emboldening the white nationalist movement, with his words and policies, and called the shooting a "direct culmination of his influence."
Obviously they missed the eight years of Obama's rabble rousing administration.
There was no mention of his Jewish daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren.
Or his moving Israel's capital to Jerusalem.
Or that "philanthropist" George Soros funds Black Lives Matter, Antifa, and any Mob-for-Hire-Anti-Trump protests with violent protesters who smash and destroy everything in its path with impunity.
But so what?
The Left may be crude, rude and violent, but around the world, they're losing ground. And sadly, it's bothering Cher, Barbra and Pharrell to no end.
Merkel is on her way out in Germany. Populist Matteo Salvini won the election in Italy. And far right candidate Jair Bolsonaro has won the presidency in Brazil.
Bolsonaro's election made Cher furious, which is remarkable. That she knew anything about Brazil. And that she's a Democrat. When Sonny wasn't.
Pharrell Williams is threatening to sue Trump over using his song at a rally after the Pittsburgh shooting.
And Barbra's just sick about all of it, and is threatening to move to Canada.
So the news isn't all bad! It's "Happy" that things aren't "The Way They Were," "After All."
Hold the line, America.
