Baloney makes a great sandwich, but not the kind Liberals are handing out.
The current breed of Liberals love your money and your vote, but not your unborn babies, and they're not afraid to say so.
Yes, Democrats are coming Out of the Shadows in ways that would make Lenin and Marx proud.
They're letting you know Socialism ain't that bad.
For them.
And that they're all for it
There are droves of them, Obama-Energized Democrats who "Hope They Can Change" America into Venezuela. That's the Socialist country that used to be prosperous, but isn't anymore.
Governors and mayors. U.S. congressmen and state representatives. They're all jumping on the Socialist train to derail America, and the train just keeps chugging along.
They're doing it by proposing a 70-90 percent tax hike here; a Jewish slur there; and a Comprehensive Abortion-Centered movement in between.
This month Elizabeth Warren not only posted her "I'm gonna' get me a beer," video, which was endearing, but she also rolled out her proposal for legislation which will tax the hell out of millionaires who are "not paying their fair share."
And will ferret out and monitor their "accumulated wealth."
Their property.
The targets are people who slam-dunked the American Dream and became successes.
The ones that create jobs for the rest of us.
They are the ones who are now slated by the Left to bankroll the "Green New Deal" proposed by legislators like Rep. Ocasio-Cortez, (D-NY), Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA), and others: Free college, free Medicare. You name it, and with them, it's free.
Presidential hopeful Harris solved the U.S. healthcare problem during her CNN-sponsored Town Hall meeting this week by simply eliminating insurance companies.
Insurance forms, prior approval, insurance? "Let's eliminate all that," she said. "Let's move on."
But it was Mayor Bill de Blasio who summed up the Democrat mantra best, in his State of the City Address on Jan. 10.
"Here's the truth. Brothers and sisters," the mayor said, "there's plenty of money in this city. It's just in the wrong hands."
Yes! That's the solution. Redistribute wealth.
Then he announced a plan that would allow the City to deal with landlords who rip off tenants.
"If the fines and the penalties don't cut it, we will seize their buildings, and we will put them in the hands of a community nonprofit that will treat tenants with the respect they deserve."
Now there's the solution! Seizing private property.
"Is this Communist Cuba?" state Assemblywoman Nicole Malliotakis asked. Malliotakis ran against de Blasio in 2017.
"I can say that, as a daughter of Cuban refugees who fled Castro's Cuba in 1959, this is what happened to my family," she said. "We had our home taken, and my grandfather had his gas station taken."
At least former President Obama had the common decency to hang just one Communist Chairman Mao trinket on the White House Christmas tree. These New Democrats are launching a total Mao remake.
This week New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo received a standing ovation when he signed an "Infanticide Bill" making Late-Term-Abortion, performed by Anyone-Who-Wants-To-Do-It, the law.
Shortly thereafter, Democrats in Virginia tried the same thing, but didn't succeed. Not this time.
The bill proposed by Virginia Delegate Kathy Tran (D-Va.) would have allowed aborting the baby up to dilation.
Ironically, these are the same people who agonize over the children of illegal immigrants. People like Kamala Harris and Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), both who refused to meet with the mothers of children killed by illegal immigrants. This week Harris' staff threatened to call Capitol police when these mothers came to Harris' office, while a "Dreamers Are Welcome" sign, in Spanish, hung outside her office.
And they do, all they do, unapologetically.
Interestingly, in 2007, two years before U.S. Army Maj. Nidal Hasan killed thirteen people and wounded twenty-nine at Fort Hood, Texas, Hasan told his fellow Army doctors, regarding Islam, "We love death more than you love life."
Today, we're seeing more of that philosophy cropping up in the platform of the Democrat Party. And it is more than death to the children they're willing to abort. It is death to our country.
It brings to mind the Grand Old Men of Communism, Vladimir Lenin and Karl Marx who said, respectively, "The goal of socialism is communism," and, "The theory of Communism may be summed up in one sentence: Abolish all private property."
Historically, this is the way all bad things begin. Ignore it, and it's a darn slippery slope.
Hold the line, America.
