"Ideas are far more powerful than guns. We don't let our people have guns. Why should we let them have ideas?" Joseph Stalin

It starts with hamburgers, but who knows where it ends?

This week, Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) declared herself "The Boss" because she was the only one to push a Climate Agenda.

And during an interview with Showtime's Desus & Mero, she said she wouldn't tell people what to eat, while she outlined what people should eat.

"It's not to say you get rid of agriculture," she said. "It's not to say we're going to force everybody to go vegan or anything crazy like that.

"But it's to say, listen, we've got to address factory farming. Maybe we shouldn't be eating a hamburger for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

           "Like, let's keep it real."

Yeah. Let's. Because you're not the boss of me.

There are a lot of things that are funny, but Totalitarianism isn't one of them.

Ask Otto Warmbier's family.  He's the young college student who was tortured and murdered by the North Korean government for ripping down a propaganda poster in his hotel in Pyongyang.

But that couldn't happen here. We have our Constitution.

It's ridiculous to think anyone in our country would ever be fearful of wearing a shirt or hat with a slogan on it.

          Because we have our Constitution.

If you want to run for election for city, state or federal office in America, but you hate America. You can.

If you want to wear a hijab and wrap yourself in the Palestinian flag. You can. It's your right to Practice your Religion. You can voice your opinions, no matter how distasteful they may be.

You can do that in this country.

And, if you're so inclined, you can bring your unbridled hate to the task. Hate the Jews, hate the rich, hate the president. It's okay. You have Freedom of Speech.

           Because it's in our Constitution.

Yet it seems the biggest problem America has today is our Constitution. It gives everybody too many rights. Everybody. And it makes our country a Sitting Duck.

It makes us vulnerable to the Terrorists, Jihhadists, illegal immigrants who breach our borders; to America-Haters who run for office, and win.

All of them delighted at how easy we make it for them to game the system.

           By using our Constitution.

But it's no laughing matter. Socialism is real and has already come to a city near you.

It's not as bad as in Venezuela. Or China. Or North Korea. Not yet.

If the Capitalist Haters lived in those countries, they would never be able to get away with what they're pulling in the U.S.

If they could see what Venezuelans see every day, the empty supermarket shelves, the government-run healthcare system from which doctors have fled, the lack of the basics of life, like water, they'd change their Socialistic tune. But here, in America, they're too darn comfortable.

In the same interview, the 29-year-old freshman Congresswoman explained the nuts and bolts of her 70 percent taxation plan. And expressed her displeasure with Capitalism.

"If you make more than $10 million dollars in one year, which is a pretty good year, your $10 millionth and one dollar gets taxed at 70 percent," she explained.

"Isn't $10 million enough? Like, when does it stop? At what point is it immoral that we're building Jeff Bezos a helipad when we have the most amount of homeless people in New York City."

The American answer to her first question is that "Earning never has to stop."

            In this country.

The American answer to her second question is, "We have an economic system which encourages its citizens to succeed."

            In this country.

And the answer to her Apples-to-Oranges argument, is "Jeff Bezos can build a million helipads if he wants to."

            In this country.

New Yorkers weren't pleased at the part Ocasio-Cortez played in driving Amazon out of New York. One group put up a billboard in Times Square to say so.

           "25,000 Lost NYC Jobs"

           "$4 Billion in Lost Wages"

"$12 Billion in Lost Economic Activity for NYC"

           "THANKS FOR NOTHING, AOC."

Rep. Ocasio-Cortez called it "wack," and said it just proved the effectiveness of the Progressive Movement. That's the movement Bernie loves.

In a 1980's interview, Bernie praised the Marxist-Saninista bread lines in Nicaragua, claiming they were a sign of a healthy economy, one which suggested an equitable distribution of wealth.

"It's funny," Bernie said, "sometimes American journalists talk about how bad a country is, that people are lining up for food. That's a good thing! In other countries people don't line up for food. The rich get the food and the poor starve to death."

Yes, that is pretty funny. That he actually thinks that. And he's running for president. Of the United States.

The upshot here is that if Americans are not vigilant against the dangerous Democrat Left today, tomorrow we'll find ourselves in line to get our tofu-burgers...Next to our horses and buggies.

           Thanks for nothing, AOC.

           Hold the line, America.
Where We Go One, We Go All
           Stay strong, Patriots.
