It's Called the Art of the Deal

If you're not a good negotiator, become one. Because in life you don't get what you deserve. You get what you negotiate." Christie Hefner, CEO, Playboy Enterprises

Life isn't really that complicated. Not if you get to the root of "problems."

Here's a thought:

If you don't have it, don't spend it.

If you don't want to be addicted, don't do drugs.

If you do the crime, you must do the time.

If you don't want the baby, don't do something you wouldn't do in a taxi cab on 42nd Street.

And if there is no crime, don't impeach.

Responsible people like facts. And they don't want to be victims.

They like making it on their own, in a country they know they can say, "I built that." Because they did.

The fact is no real woman thinks abortion is "healthcare."

No reasonable person thinks they have to be victimized by college debt.

It's about choice. Taking responsibility. And getting to the root cause.

In days gone by, immigrants to America came by merit.

People who went to college did so on merit.

If you didn't have the money, or the smarts, you didn't go to college. If you did go, your parents didn't pay for it.

Today the loudest voices are against America, its history and its president. And there are lot of them.

Politicians. Hollywood. The Left Leaning Media. All united against Trump.

In "Ant and Grasshopper" fashion, they deal with the minituae of American life, content to let someone else take care of other "stuff," the economy, negotiations with hostile nations.

Then they're free to tackle "Women's Issues," where there are none, and the anguish of the LGBTQ community, people who comprise only 4 percent of our population, but to whom Liberals dedicate 99 percent of their attention.

Protesting, tearing down.

They do all of it while enjoying the protections given to them by this country.

All 24 Socialist Democrat presidential candidates, and the Politicos already in Congress, think they know how to be president better than Donald Trump does. And they despise the president and the American people who elected him.

The ones former FBI Agent Peter Strzok called "smelly WalMart people."

The mid-westerners whom Barack Obama said were bitter, who, "Cling to their guns, or religion."

This week New York Mayor Bill de Blasio had the chutzpah to announce he was running for president.

His platform? Same as the other 23. Attacking President Trump.

"Donald Trump is playing a big con on America. I call him 'Con Don,'" the mayor told ABC's George Stephanopoulos, while New Yorkers outside the Good Morning America studios chanted, "Liar!" "Can't run the city! Can't run the country!"

De Blasio is the type of elected official you get when you elect the type of official like him.

He's a guy who arrives late to every official event. Who takes a police helicopter from Brooklyn to Queens, to take a car to Hempstead, Long Island.

Because he's running late.

While pushing the Green New Deal.

"Dollar Bill" wants to feather his campaign nest, one buck at a time, while he and Gov. Cuomo can't figure out how to repair the city's crumbling rail and subway system. Except to impose a Congestion Tax. On drivers.

And a pass live birth abortion law.

Socialist Bill lives high, hangs out with George Soros, and, like the other Democrat candidates, insists he's for the Average Joe.

He, like the other candidates, wants to penalize the rich, and has said, in best Socialist fashion, "Brothers and sisters. There's plenty of money in the world. There's plenty of money in this city. It's just in the wrong hands."

What are the "right" hands? His wife's? Who "lost" $900 million dollars after heading up the ThriveNYC, mental-health initiative? She says she doesn't know where it went.

His hands? Like the $773 million dollars he wasted on his "Renewal" school program, which was closed down with no measurable benefits?

The Left believes it can say and do what it chooses, and it will be okay.

But today it wasn't okay.

Today Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) were stunned when President Trump cut short their scheduled infrastructor meeting.

"He wasn't really respectful," Pelosi told reporters. "He took a pass and it just makes me wonder why he did that."

"Maybe it was lack of confidence on his part," she added snidely. "That he really couldn't match the greatness of the challenge that we have."

No. It was because Pelosi met with her caucus to discuss his impeachent the morning before the infrastructure meeting.

And he wasn't going to take it.

It was because, after that meeting, she accused the president of a "cover-up" for keeping former White House counsel Don McGhan from testifying before the House Judiciary Committee. After MdGhan already testified for 30 hours by Mueller's team.

And he called her and Schumer's bluff.

It's why President Trump told reporters after the cancelled meeting that he was willing to work with Democrats on infrastructure, but that he was not going to do it if they kept investigating him and his White House.

We know why, and Pelosi and Schumer know.

It was Trump's "Art of the Deal." It's his unpredictability.

And he's better at it than they are are.

Hold the line, America.
Where We Go One, We Go All
Stay strong, Patriots
