Forever a Victim

Some things never change. And that's usually a good thing.

But maybe it's not.

Lithium batteries still explode, but the people at Samsung hope you'll forget about that.

It's the same with former U.N. Ambassador/Obama Security Advisor Susan Rice, and failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

There's so much these two would like you to forget about them.

This week both were out plugging their books. And nothing has changed with the Benghazi Sisters.

They are still representing themselves as blameless victims.

In Rice's memoir, "Tough Love," she questions why, despite her "many accomplishments during two administrations," she's been criticized.

And she tells her readers why.

It's not because she illegitimately "unmasked" senior Trump officials for President Obama when she shouldn't have.

It's not because she lied on national TV about the cause of the attack in Benghazi.

It's because she's a "woman of color." And special.

"Being a confident black woman who is not seeking permission or affirmation from others," Rice says, "I suspect accounts for why I inadvertently intimidate some people, especially certain men."

So. It's not her fault. And denying the fallout from her actions, she feels victimized by Benghazi. So does Hillary.

That's not how the families of U.S.  Ambassador Chris Stevens, Sean Smith, Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty see it.

Or how Nakoula Basseley Nakoula remembers it.

He's the filmmaker whose short video, "The Innocence of Muslims" was blamed as the cause of the Sept. 11, 2012 attack.

It wasn't.

Obama and then-Secretary of State Clinton finally were forced to admit they were wrong, that Al Qaeda terrorists were to blame for the attack.

But nevertheless, Mr. Nakoula was thrown in jail, without bail, and today is a broken man.

"I don't believe in democracy anymore," he told Fox News. "I don't think there is such a thing as freedom of speech."

He has a point.

Democrats ruin everything they touch.

Secretary Clinton did nothing to help our men in Benghazi the night of the attack, then infamously told a Congressional Committee, "What difference at this point does it make."

It's the same approach she's using today.

"I think the gutsiest thing I've ever done, personally, is make the decision to stay in my marriage," Clinton said disengenuously in a Good Morning America interview about her and Chelsea's book "Gutsy Women" -- and preparing for another White House run. It seems.

And during a recent People magazine interview, Hillary jumped in to defend Lunch Bucket Joe, as accepting of his creepy, kissy, nuzzly behavior as she was of Bill's, describing Joe's behavior as "a little annoying habit."

"We can pick apart anybody," Clinton said, protecting her own bad behavior. "It's a great spectator sport."

"But this man who's there in the Oval Office right now poses a clear and present danger to the future of the United States. So get over it!"

Democrats are extremely tolerant of each others foibles, they never apologize, and always defend.

They want you to "get over it," and elect them, warts and all.

Like the Democrat roster of presidential candidates, who admit their transgressions, hoping they will be forgotten.

Some people may have forgotten Joe loved to skinny dip, for all to see, including female Secret Service agents, while he was VP.

But Erich Schuttauf executive director of the American Association for Nude Recreation didn't forget.

"We are encouraged by the prospect that someone who understands how much you enjoy your birthday suit is seeking higher office. That's a great thing."

It is great for Joe, because Joe says he was never aware of "intentionally" doing anything "inappropriate," although everyone else thinks he did.

And Sen. Elizabeth Warren is the same. Blameless. She can't seem to help lying just for the heck of it.

For most of her 70 years it was the Indian thing.

Which wasn't true.

Now it's that she was fired for being pregnant.

To get the female vote. Yes, by being a victim.

Warren told campaign crowds she was fired from a teaching job because she was "visibly pregnant," and says, "The principal did what principals did in those days: Wished me luck, showed me the door, and hired someone else for the job."

But it isn't true. The Riverdale Board of Ed said it wasn't. They offered her a contract to stay on.

Lying, spying, destroying evidence and looking the other way. It's the Democrat way of rolling over the Rule of Law, the Constitution, and decent behavior.

Yet they want us to Forgive and Forget. And to elect them, despite their feet of clay. Even though they never change.

It seems some things never change.

Hold the line, America.
Where We Go One, We Go All.
Stay strong, Patriots.
