Crucifixion is Never Pretty

Jesus had a better shot at a fair trial than President Trump.

At least Jesus' trial was public. But everything else is pretty much the same. One sided.

Regardless of the time in history, politicial trials are political, conducted by people who fear a person whom they regard as a "Rabble Rouser."

Like Jesus of Nazareth and Donald J.

They both Roused a heck of a lot of Rabbles. And Kangaroo Courts love nothing better than bringing this kind of a case against these kinds of people.

The downside is, of course, that political trials can get out of hand.

Cruxifixion is never pretty, no matter how it's done.

"On many counts the trial was illegal," so says a New York Times 1991 article, entitled "Jesus Underwent a Purely Political Trial."

"It met at night, not in the proper temple chamber, but in the high priest's home, holding an indictment and trial in the same session, and voted unanimously for guilt, in contravention of Judaic law."

Today that procedure equates to Speaker Pelosi and Rep. Schiff's trial by "Impeachment Inquiry."

At Jesus' trial, the crowds cried, "Crucify him! Crucify him!" Today the call is "Impeach him."

The idea is the same, and so is the process.

And understand: We are not calling Trump the "Jesus" of his administration. It was "Black Jesus" Obama's White House staff who did that.

What we are saying is that political trials can leave a bad taste in your mouth.

Last night the Democrat/Socialist candidates for president spent much of the debate showing they are a willing part of the Trump Impeachment Mob. It's something they have in common with the Obama-Left-Over-Intelligence-Community Deep Staters.

Couple that with their platforms to seize your guns, remove tax-exempt status from your churches unless they toe the Socialist line, and spend your money like drunken sailors, some of them are even frightening other Liberals.

"My discomfort in the last few years, first with Russiagate, and now with Ukrainegate and impeachment, stems from the belief that the people pushing hardest for Trump's early removal are more dangerous than Trump," wrote Real Clear Politics Leftie Matt Taibbi -- calling what America finds itself in now a "Permanent Coup."

"Most casual news consumers can only think of it (impeachment) in terms of Mike Pence becoming president.

"The real problem would be the precedent of a de facto intelligence community veto over elections, using the lunatic Spookworld brand of politics that has dominated the last three years of anti-Trump agitation."

This week Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi joined the ranks of Comey, Clapper, McCabe, Brennan and other Intelligence Community traitors in their quest to oust Trump, by declaring that she will not hold a full House vote to formally authorize an impeachment inquiry.

And Trump Haters on the other side of the aisle helped.

While Pelosi cleared the decks for an "unofficial" impeachment inquiry entirely of her own design, Republicans Sen. Mitt, and the husband of Kellyanne Conway were both sneaking around the Senate, attempting to enlist enough Republican votes to convict the president.

And this week Adam Schiff decided he had no further use for the testimony of the First Whistleblower.

That's the guy -- or gal -- who started the whole Ukraine phone call controversy by not having firsthand knowledge of anything about the call.

The one who is a CIA officer.

The one who is affiliated with candidate Joe Biden.

Secret claims, made by secret witnesses, behind closed doors, tried before a biased tribunal, is what is happening in our country. But sometimes these kinds of things can go terribly wrong.

In trying to discredit a Rabble Rouser, Pelosi might make him look like one of the good guys.

After all, look what happened to Jesus Christ. Over the centuries, he's gotten some pretty good press.

Hold the line, America.
Where We Go One, We Go All.
Stay strong, Patriots.
