It's All About the Bots

Back in 2015, Hillary used to be quite the jokester.

That was when she was riding high, secure in the knowledge that she was a shoo-in for president.

Giddy and happy, when asked by a reporter whether she "wiped" her e-mail server clean before handing it over to the FBI, she cackled, in a "Gone With the Wind," "I don't no nothin' 'bout birthin' babies helplessness.

"What? Like with a cloth or something? I don't know how it works digitally at all."

She was feeling mighty fine.

After all, everything was in place. How could she possibly lose?

Bernie was side-lined in the 2016 Democratic primaries by Democratic National Committee Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz.

FBI Director James Comey gave her a clean "deleted e-mail" bill of health, and kept her out of jail.

And Interim DNC Chair/CNN political commentator Donna Brazile leaked her debate questions for upcoming CNN campaign events.

The election was in the bag.

Of course, Wasserman Schultz had to resign. And Brazile was fired from CNN. But that didn't dampen Hillary's spirits.

She retained the pluck she showed in the face of possible e-mail devastation in anticipation of "Breaking the Glass Ceiling" on election night.

Victory fireworks over the Hudson. Balloons set to cascade down from the glass ceiling at the Javits Center.

But now Hillary is older, no longer light-hearted, and not in the White House. But apparently she's gotten technologically savvy. Or maybe she always was.

Anyhow, now she knows there's something called Twitter "bots."

"I think they've got their eye on someone who's currently in the Democratic primary, and are grooming her to be the third-party candidate," Clinton told her former campaign manager, David Plouffe on his podcast, "Campaign HQ."

Seeming to speak of candidate Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI), Clinton said, "She's a favorite of the Russians. They have a bunch of sites and bots and other ways of supporting her so far."

It's the latest in Hillary non-stop victim dialogue on "What Happened" in the 2016 election, and what could happen if she jumps back in the race in 2020.

Earlier this month, on PBS, Hillary discussed her and daughter's new book, "Gutsy Women," the president, impeachment and a tweet posted earlier in the day.

By Trump.

"I think that crooked Hillary Clinton should try to enter the race to try and steel it away from uber-left Elizabeth Warren," The Donald tweeted.

How dare he!

"Nothing has been more examined and looked at than my e-mails," Hillary hurrumphed. "We all know that."

"There was no subpoena...So maybe there does need to be a rematch. Obviously I can beat him again."

Hillary is older, for sure, but it doesn't seem wiser. And like Lunch Bucket Joe, she seems a little worse for wear.

Unfortunately, "What goes around, tends to come around," and Hillary's e-mails are back. Not the ones about "Chelsea's wedding and Hillary's yoga workouts."

It's the "other ones."

Yesterday Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton disclosed Clinton e-mails regarding Benghazi.

The e-mail chain was sent by Jacob Sullivan, Clinton's deputy chief of staff, to Clinton, and showed that the State Department used Hillary's personal, unsecured server to formulate "Talking Points" about the Sept. 11, 2012 attack.

The Talking Points used by Susan Rice to misrepresent the cause of the attack.

In August, 2019, U.S. District Judge Royce C. Lamberth granted Judicial Watch new discovery in the case, which resulted in the release of these e-mails.

"There is no Freedom of Information Act exemption for political expedience, nor is there one for bureaucratic incompetence," Judge Lamberth said, calling Clinton's private e-mail system, "One of the greatest modern offenses against government transparency."

"This e-mail is a twofer," said Fitton.

"It shows Hillary Clinton misled the U.S. Senate on Benghazi, and that the State Department wanted to hide the Benghazi connection to the Clinton e-mail scheme.

"Rather than defending her e-mail misconduct, the Justice Department has more than enough evidence to reopen its investigations into Hillary Clinton."

It looks like it's deja vu all over again for Hillary.

And, darn! Wouldn't you know! Right before the 2020 Election.

Well, I guess there's always 2024.

Hold the line, America.
Where We Go One, We Go All.
Stay strong, Patriots.
