They Just Want to Be Fair

Democrats. You know them as the Party of "My body, my choice!"

The "Me-Too-ers."

As the standard bearers of "Pay Your Fair Share."

And lately, "Protectors of Whistleblowers."

As a Party, they say they just want to be fair.

In 1998, Linda Tripp, Monica Lewinsky's confidante, blew the lid off Bill Clinton's presidency during his Impeachment Trial. And she was ripped apart for it.

She was a classic "Whistleblower." But that didn't matter.

Democrats say they believe in protecting whistleblowers. Even when a whistleblower isn't a whistleblower.

It just depends on which side of the fence you're on. And Tripp was on the wrong side.

So was Ashley Bianco.

ABC's Good Morning America co-host Amy Robach had a swell scoop, an interview that would take down pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, Bill Clinton and Fergie's Prince Andrew. But ABC scotched the story.

That was three years ago.

Robach was recorded on a hot mic in a video expressing her frustration about losing the story, and this week the video was released by Project Veritas.

ABC was not pleased.

The network accused former ABC producer, Ashley Bianco, of blowing the whistle. Bianco, who now worked for CBS, was fired from her new job, and she says, with no explanation or opportunity to defend herself.

Now ABC wants to know who leaked the video, and is frantically interrogating employees, and rummaging through their e-mails.

In those three years, a lot of children were abused by Epstein and his buddies. That could have been stopped. But ABC wouldn't publish the story.

Just as Ronan Farrow said in his new book, Lies, Spies and a Conspiracy to Protect Predators, that
NBC hid Matt Lauer's and Harvey Weinstein's sexual misconduct.

At least Democrat women are there for each other.

Or maybe not.

This week, Sen. Amy Klobuchar suddenly realized that, as a candidate, and as a woman, she was a victim. Because she was a woman.

In a New York Times interview, Klobuchar said that in politics, the odds favor people like Mayor Pete.

"Of the women on the stage," she said, "I'm focusing here on my fellow women senators, Sen. Harris, Warren and myself. Do I think we would be standing on that stage if we had the experience he had? No, I don't. Maybe we're held to a different standard."

Coincidentally, Klobuchar left out the other female senator on the stage. The pretty one. Tulsi Gabbard. Who is polling at 6 percent, while Harris is at 1 percent, and Klobuchar at 3.

Sounds a lot like Hillary, fending off her husband's accusers.

Maybe Sen. Klobuchar holds Gabbard to a different standard. But then again what can you expect from someone who eats her salad with a comb?

Democrat presidential candidates tell us not to worry. The freebies they promise will be paid for by "Billionaires."

(It used to be "Millionaires," unti Liz Warren and Bernie became millionaires themselves.)

To calculate what a Warren Billionaire's tax burden would be, Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos' "Fair Share" as billionaires would be about $6.38 and $6.7 billion dollars respectively.

Annually. In addition to other taxes.

As Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher said, Socialists are good at spending other people's money. Until they run out of other people's money.

Other interested billionaires can go to Warren's website to calculate how much they will be paying in taxes.

"WOW -- YOU'VE GOT A LOT OF MONEY!" the website reads. "Now you have the opportunity to invest some of it back into our society so everyone has a chance to succeed."

And if any rich guy tries to make a run for it, Warren says her plan includes a 40 percent "exit tax," on net worth above $50 million dollars.

Somehow that doesn't sound fair. Or American. In fact, that sounds like Communism.

So the question is: Why should someone, in America, who worked hard to make their money, have to share it? Or someone who inherited from someone who worked hard?

And why should someone not pay taxes because they are poor? Or have the right to take the money some "rich person" worked for?

"Well, that's the way it's always been," the Left tells us.

"Remember. We are the compassionate Party, the protectors of the lowly middle class,  women, LGBTQ, the poor, kids.

"And whistleblowers."

Nah. That doesn't sound right. Even Bill Gates is a teensy bit worried.

"I've paid over $10 billion dollars in taxes," the renowned philanthropist said. "I've paid more than anyone in taxes, but I'm glad to.

"If I had to pay $20 billion dollars, it's fine. But when you say I should pay $100 billion dollars, then I'm starting to do a little math about what I have left over."

Who wouldn't?

ABC, NBC, CBS, Weinstein, Epstein, Linda Tripp. And Trump's impeachment.

It's a Democrat pattern. And it all comes down to what side of the fence you're on.

Hold the line, America.
Where We Go One, We Go All.
Stay strong, Patriots.
