They say New Year's resolutions, like promises, were made to be broken.
Well, while it's true it wouldn't be the end of the world if you didn't stay on that diet, or weren't nicer to your mom, it would have been an "Existential Threat" if President Trump had not kept his campaign promises.
But he did.
Now it's your turn.
Time to give a damn. Time to make some profound Political Resolutions to take on the people who are determined to destroy the America of our Founding Fathers, and who are doing alarmingly well at it, despite their Alice in Wonderland tactics.
This week Joe Biden, the Democrat Party's great white hope took a walk down Hillary Lane.
Joe, a man of the people, promised a greener economy by getting rid of fracking, fossil fuels and coal, and encouraged coal miners to take up computer programming. Because there would be job losses.
Especially in coal mines.
The computer-programming, hourly-wage jobs would supposedly replace the $61,650 dollars in pay that a coal miner could expect to make under a contract negotiated by the United Mine Workers of America union.
Good ideas like that never die. Back in 2016 Hillary promised to do the same thing while campaigning.
"We're going to put a lot of coal miners and coal companies out of business," Hillary firmly proclaimed. It was part of her promise to transition to a greener economy.
Officials in Logan, West Virginia -- coal country -- were not pleased, especially when they were asked to host a Hillary rally.
"Bill and Hillary Clinton are simply not welcome in our town," Logan officials wrote to Sen. Joe Manchin.
"Mrs. Clinton's anti-coal messages are the last thing our suffering town needs at this point. The policies that have been championed by people like Mrs. Clinton have all but devastated our fair town, and enough is enough."
It's true. Enough is enough.
So, starting today, January 1. Write some letters. Make some phone calls. To the FBI. Congressmen. Barack Obama. Don Lemon. Drop a line to Hillary and tell her "What Really Happened." Or to DeNiro. Tell him "you know him," but don't like him, because he's got a filthy mouth.
1. Tell Nancy she should clean up her own house, and her act, before instructing the People's House to impeach our president.
2. Tell James Comey to shut up.
3. Tell the Department of Justice, or whoever does this stuff, to throw the book at Ilhan Omar and her buddy Roshida Tlaib, for committing campaign fraud, and their Anti-Semitism-Anti-Trumpism-and-All-Around Muslim Nastiness.
4. Tell Michelle Obama she's not First Lady anymore.
5. Tell Joe Biden he needs to get out of politics. He's just not cutting it.
6. Tell Hunter Biden he's been a bad, bad boy.
7. Tell Adam Schiff he's got another think coming. He'll know what you mean.
8. Tell Elizabeth Warren she's not an Indian. And Corey Booker he's not Spartacus.
9. Tell Barack we're wise to him.
10. Tell Hillary to get ready to trade in her pants suit for a jump suit.
11. And finally, tell Donald Trump "Thank you" for just being himself, but especially for appointing Attorney General William Barr, another stand up guy. Maybe there will be some Justice from the DOJ after what has become a two-tiered legal system thanks to the Democrats.
