Swabs and DNA

The Washington Post's Jeff Bezos doesn't want the "Great American Lockdown" to end.

Why should he? Amazon's doing fine.

Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg is dying to "help" identify Americans with Coronavirus. To track them. Where they've been. Who they've contacted.

Who they vote for.

Why shouldn't he? It's every Liberals' dream come true.

During the pandemic, the Leftist media has kept the fires of fear alive. For fear the economy will come roaring back.

Before November.

Today, National Public Radio reported that a "panel of experts" at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases warned against using hydrochloroquine and azithromycin to treat Coronavirus.

That is the Institute headed up by Dr. Anthony Fauci, the Prince of Negativity.

And this week, the Washington Post reported that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention see a bleak future ahead.

"There's a possibility that the assault of the virus on our nation next winter will actually be even more difficult than the one we just went through," CDC Director Robert Redfield said.

That could be. But maybe not. After all, those determining our house-bound fates, have been wrong from the beginning.

Doctors Fauci and Birx used models which were wildly inaccurate, but we shut down the country anyway.

You can't blame them. They didn't know.

The problem is they still don't know. And now endless testing is being pushed as a condition of reopening the economy.

Proponents of testing aren't sure what they'll be testing for. But the government knows if you test positive, it will have the right to track you.

And who you contacted.

And then test them. And the people they contacted...

Forever.

How different is that from having a number tatooed on your arm?

Swabs and DNA, they're perfect together.

If your DNA isn't on file -- and it probably isn't, unless you voluntarily provided it to trace your family tree, or killed a family of four and are in the criminal data base. But it will be now.

The thing about DNA is that it's so useful. And dangerous in the wrong hands.

Profiles can be used in the analysis of genetic diseases.

So the questions Americans should be asking are, "What the heck will this do to my chances of getting life and health insurance once these files exist?"

"And what will tracking do to my right to privacy?"

The fact is, once you've been "checked," any Tom, Dick and Gretchen can get access to everything about you.

This week Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer used the pandemic for her own Democrat purposes. She hired a Democrat political firm, Great Lakes Community Engagement, to track the spread of the virus.

The company is run by Mike Kolehouse, a political activist who brought Occupy Wall Street to Detroit, and who, in March, tweeted:

"I hope he (Trump) gets Coronavirus ASAP. Can someone do the country a favor and cough on that man?"

The political hijinks were discovered by Livingston County Commissoner Wes Nakagiri.

He said it was troubling "to see health information was being stored in a Democrat-aligned database," and that volunteers were asking questions about the names and ages of persons in a household, and their email addresses in a program that had already started without proper approval.

The answers were logged into NPG VAN, a technology provider to Democrat and progressive campaigns.

Such as Barack Obama and Elizabeth Warren.

Shades of the Iowa caucus.

Whitmer got caught, and the $200,000 contract was cancelled, but the threat to our personal liberties is not to be ignored. It's real.

In 2001, Islamic terrorist Richard Reid attempted to blow up American Airlines Flight 63 from Paris to Miami, by igniting explosives hidden in his sneakers.

From that day to this, Americans still have to pass through airline security in their stocking feet, all in the name of "National Security."

Who could argue with that?

And who will argue with house arrest in the name of Lockdown 2020's "Saving Lives?" Even when it looks like the worst is over.

Yesterday Dr. Deborah Birx announced that the U.S. has the lowest Coronavirus mortality rate in the world.

And Dr. John Ioannidis, professor of medicine at Stanford, said "In the Coronavirus pandemic, we're making decisions without reliable data.

"Better informaton is needed to guide decisions and actions of monumental significance to monitor their impact."

Light at the end of the tunnel. Debate over loss of liberties. But you will never hear about any of this in the media.

And, in the days ahead, watch for a spike in "new virus outbreaks" in Democrat cities and states, such as New York, in an effort to funnel federal money into their failimg state budgets.

It's all part of a plan.

Hold the line, America.
Where We Go One, We Go All.
Stay strong, Patriots.
