You want to talk Jim Crow? Let's talk Jim Crow.
It's what white Americans are going through now. Without the lynchings. For now.
You support Trump? Like cops? Heck. Like America?
You don't dare say that in public.
You can't wear a MAGA hat because you'll get the crap beaten out of you.
If you publish an Op-ed by a Republican senator, Tom Cotton, as The New York Tmes editor James Bennett did, you'll be forced to "resign," because it "upset " the paper's liberal staffers.
But paint BLACK LIVES MATTERS in curb-to-curb letters on a D.C. street, and nothing will happen to you.
Not if you are black Mayor Muriel Bowser, running her city into the ground. And comfortably in Michael Bloomberg's pocket.
And not if you're Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot.
Lightfoot was on a conference call with 50 aldermen this week, to discuss the city's response to the looting, when she ignored a question from Alderman Raymond Lopez.
"What happens when they (the rioters) start going after residents?" Lopez asked. "I've got gang bangers with AK-47s walking around now."
Lightfoot refused to respond, and, when pressed, told Lopez, "I think you're 100 percent full of s***."
It's gotten bad.
But Democdrats have been doing this kind of thing since before 1850.
No one talks about it, but the Democrat Party is the party that was for slavery, against civil rights.
And, during FDR's administration, killed anti-lynching legislation which President Roosevelt did not support.
Democrat Sen. Richard Russell, a man with ties to the KKK, filibustered the bill to death. He did the same thing to the 1964 Civil Rights Bill.
But Democrats don't talk about that.
Or that Southern Democrats passed Jim Crow laws after the Civil War, establishing segregation and limiting black Americans' rights.
The laws denied newly freed slaves the right to vote, limited where they could work, travel and what they could earn.
With former Confederate soldiers working as police and judges, the legal system was stacked against them, and the KKK was there to make certain they knew their place.
Today the ghost of Jim Crow is back, this time for white Americans.
Thanks to Democrats and Covid-19, our rights to vote in person, worship and travel freely are now up for grabs. And ask Gen. Flynn how the justice system worked for him. And Hillary, how it worked for her.
Whatever you've been told, protests for George Floyd have nothing to do with caring about black lives. If they did, the murder of black, 77-year-old St. Louis pollce Capt. David Dorn, who was killed trying to stop looters, would have been part of the protest.
But it wasn't.
Race is just a tool to Democrats, to keep one group or another down. And it always has been. Because Democrats have always needed a dependent class. And always will.
It is the Democrat Party which uses words like "brown and black people," and refer to "people of color." What kind of people say things like that?
White is a color, or an absence of color, so aren't we all "people of color?" But more importantly, should we be noticing the color of anyone's skin at all?
Misinformation and mistakes about Covd-19 have led our country into a violent time. It was not by accident. And it is not a conspiracy theory. Not as long as George Soros and Barack Obama are anywhere on this planet.
This past week, a white woman was bullied into kneeling, made to show solidarity with Black Lives Matter, and to apologize for her "white privilege."
By a black protester.
Elected leaders, Sen. Elizabeth Warren, Sen. Mitt Romney, Michigan Gov. Whitmer and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey responded to the protests.
They chose to pander to the violent, anti-American thugs, by joining them.
Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms called the looting a "peaceful demonstration," while begging for a Recovery Fund...to rebuild burned and destroyed buildings in Atlanta.
And to think. She's on Lunchbox Joe's short list for veep.
Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and her fellow Democrats knelt in solidarity with protesters, wearing African kente cloth scarves, as American businesses were destroyed and lawlessness prevailed.
As cops were injured, and people were killed.
Those leaders watched as Antifa established "No Go Zones" in Seattle.
While demonstrators gleefully looted, burned, maimed and pillaged in cities across our country.
And these Democrats, and others, disgustingly sought to ingratiate themselves to anarchists, even going so far as to seriously entertain plans to eliminate police altogether. The only bastion of sanity and safety left to Americans.
But all these leaders did was to show how weak they are. And that goes for Republicans who sit and do nothing.
And how foolish they are to think Americans will ever take a knee to them, or those like them. Pandemic be damned.
It'll be a cold day in Hell.
Hold the line, America.
