I wish it came as a surprise that comrades Gov. Cuomo and Mayor deBlasio are both in favor of removing the statue of Teddy Roosevelt from outside the Museum of Natural History in NYC.

But it didn't. Seems Cuomo is as good at saving the history of our country, as he was at protecting "the most vulnerable among us," the elderly in nursing homes, during the pandemic.

You know how that turned out.

The bronze statue of Roosevelt has stood outside the Museum of Natural History since 1940.

But that didn't cut any ice with Cuomo. Not even that Teddy was a New York governor, just like himself. Nope, "I think the statue in this environment is in bad taste," Cuomo said.

Well, he should know bad taste.

He changed the name of the Tappan Zee Bridge to the Gov. Mario M. Cuomo Bridge, after his father, without a blnk of his eye, or the permission to do it, so why would we expect him to realize what a wrench it will be to be without Teddy astride his horse in the major role he played in Night at the Museum?

Our history, but more importantly, that movie, will never be the same without that Rough Rider, in front of The Museum.

Hang tough.
