Blame God and Mother Nature

It's a conundrum. "If a home run is hit in an empty stadium, is it still a home run?"

It's about Isolation. And it is a plan.

It's a little like being dead.

There is nowhere to go, and nothing to do. Except the places the government tells you can go, and the things you're told you can do.

You can't get a book out of the library without an appointment.

You don't have to slow down in a school zone, because there is no school.

If you have a favorite store, you'll probably discover that business has gone out of business.

The web of connectedness is sobering.

Close a restaurant, and the people put out of work far exceed the restaurant workers. Linens, wine, fish, bread. They all come from somewhere.

Close the malls, and it's the same story.

It has Communist President Xi Jinping's fingerprints all over it.

But President Xi isn't alone.

Seattle, Atlanta, Minneapolis and other cities have been turned into war zones.

New York City has been turned into a ghost town, property values plummeting, thanks to its Progressive/Communist Gov. Cuomo and Mayor deBlasio.

Who wants to live in a city where there are no shops to shop in? Where museums and theatres are closed?

Where ordinary citizens are "tracked," but criminals aren't?

Where you need a passport to travel from Brooklyn to Manhattan?

No one does.

Especially when there are homeless people camping out and junkies shooting up on your doorstep. When the crime rate has doubled, but the New York Police Department budget has been slashed.

"You got to come back! We'll go to dinner! Come over. I'll cook!" Gov. Cuomo begged former New Yorkers, who fled to their Hudson Valley, Hampton and Connecticut homes.

But it didn't work.

These One Percenters didn't want to live in a city where the only thing they get out of it is to pay more taxes.

"The wealthiest one percent of the Empire State's population picks up roughly 50 percent of the state's tax burden," according to the New York Post.

The whole country knows how bad these guys are at their jobs. And what Cuomo and deBlasio are pulling. And they are just one example of Democrat-run states.

These politicians claim their state's financial woes are the result of the Chinese virus.

But everyone knows it's not.

Cuomo is busy falsifying Covid-19 numbers. Raising them to get federal funds. Lowering them to avoid responsibility for the 6,000 deaths in New York nursing homes.

He's doing it by blaming Trump. God. The New York Post. And Mother Nature.

Look around you. Is this the change you want to see in your country?

Criminals being "compassionately" released because of Covid-19, then commiting new crimes?

In Maryland, 63-year-old Edigio Ienzi was stabbed to death in Maryland by a released criminal.

And in Washington, after his release, Karla Dominguez was murdered by the man who was convicted of raping her.

The government didn't track them, but they have teams who know where you are.

Supposedly because of Covid-19. But it's wreaking havoc on our civil liberties. And it's a plan.

Los Angeles Democrat Mayor Garcetti says he will cut off electricity and water if residents hold parties with too many guests.

Because of Covid-19.

Gov. Cuomo travelled to Georgia to fundraise, without a mask, shaking hands, hugging, and not quarantining after his return. Same thing with Dr. Fauci at Nationals Park.

Masks and quarantines, I guess, are for other people.

In Portland, after 70 days of riots, Mayor Ted Wheeler finally told protesters to stop. It was after they locked federal officers in a courthouse and set the building on fire.

His plea wasn't because the protesters were commiting arson and attempted murder. It was because it made Trump look good.

"Don't think for a moment that if you are participating in this activity, you are not being a prop for the re-election campaign of Donald Trump, because you are," Wheeler snarled.

Is this the change you want to see in your country?

Or maybe you'd rather to be like Jimmy Lai.

The 71-year-old, self-made founder of the Hong Kong pro-democreacy newspaper Apple Daily was arrested this week, under Hong Kong's new national security law, marched out of the newsroom with his two sons and four company executives.

His home and headquarters searched.

As a supporter of democracy in Hong Kong and critic of Beijing, it was to be expected. And it is a foreshadowing of what is ahead for us.

It may be a tired bromide, but "Be the change you want to see," seems to fit the bill.

Like Jimmy Lai, our country's freedom has always been up to us. And the clock is ticking down.

Hold the line, America.
