It was something Americans thought they would never have to confront ever again, after they confronted and defeated King George III.

Tyranny.

But with the advent of the Wuhan virus, Democrat governors and mayors are bringing American businessmen to their knees with "emergency" measures that have nothing to do with preventing illness.

In New Jersey, Gov. Murphy has vindictively persecuted businesses that have done everything to make their businesses safe, but have dared to open up to earn a living.

In Bellmawr the owners of Atilis Gym, Ian Smith and Frank Trumbetti, have been fined and jailed more than $100,000 for fighting to keep their doors open.

In Forked River, Navy veteran Brian Brindisi, owner of the Lakeside Diner, has racked up similar unreasonably high fines and is facing jail time, even though the cleanliness measures he's instated are now the state standard.

He's due in court in mid-November.

All three men are possessed of the spirit that won the American Revolution.

"There's only two ways they're going to get me out of here,” Brindisi told ABC News. “Handcuffs or in a body bag. I don't mean that in a threat to the police, I'm just saying, I'm not leaving."

Support these businesses. Support the men. Follow their cases. It’s our duty to honor what these Patriots are doing for all of us.

Hang tough.
