Don't Stop Believing

November 11th, 2020 2:27 pm
"Never stop fighting for what you believe in and for the people who care about you. Carry yourself with dignity and pride. Demand the best from yourself and be totally unafraid to challenge
entrenched interests and failed power structures." President Donald
J. Trump

November 11, 2020, And Every Wednesday

It ain't over "til the Fat Lady sings. And there's no question about it. There'll be no singing. Because the Election ain't over.

Not even when FOX News joins the other media hacks, sneering and ridiculing President Trump because he and his supporters are questioning the results of an election fraught with fraud.

And not even when FOX calls Joe Biden "President Elect." It's not over.

Bret Baier. Neil Cavuto. Chris Wallace. Sandra Smith. Bill Hemmer. Kristin Fisher. And others. Sneering and loving every minute of it.

But FOX's listeners weren't pleased. They were all in for "Fair and Balanced," but being CNN-Light wasn't cutting it for them. And social media censorship was getting old. So, they up and left.

They went to Newsmax. They left Twitter and went to Parler. And they numbered in the millions. They showed the power of the individual.

Actions have consequences.

"You do not turn on your base," Rush Limbaugh said on Monday. "You do not turn on your audience...for the sake of the approval of your enemies.

"You don't turn on the people who got you where you are...And that appears to be what's happening here."

Yes, it is.

What happened on November 3 was not only a disgrace, but it was illegal.

Federal crimes were commited in violation of the U.S. Constitution. Investigation is appropriate.

All votes have not been counted, and who stops in the middle of something?

Suppose the Tour de France was called for Lance Armstrong before the other cyclists crossed the finish line, because the judges figured he'd probably win again.

And what do you think Tennis Diva Selena William would do, (given her past Tennis Court Manners,) if the match was awarded to Naomi Osaka, the young woman who won a Grand Slam singles title against Williams, because judges thought the chances were she'd beat Williams again?

How absurd that would be.

Voters are furious, and are asking, "How can you call an election when you haven't counted all the votes?"

You can't.

Let's face it. Sometimes it is appropriate to be depressed. And sometimes things look bleak, because they are.

But when you're feeling overwhelmed, just imagine what Gen. George Washington must have felt at Valley Forge. His soldiers had no food, no clothes or shoes for their frozen, bleeding feet.

And the odds against them were tremendous.

Luckily for him, Mitt Romney and Chris Christie weren't in the Revolutionary War version of a fox hole with him.

We were blessed to have George Washington. And we are blessed to have The Donald. And his words, speaking about his beliefs which have not changed.

"If I give you one message to hold in your hearts today, it is this: Treat the word 'Impossible' as nothing more than motivation," he said.

"Relish the opportunity to be an Outsider, because it's the Outsiders who change the world and make a real and lasting difference.

"The more that a broken system tells you that you're wrong, the more certain you should be that you must keep pushing ahead. You must keep pushing forward. And always have the courage to be yourself."*

So, keep pushing ahead. And remember: Don't look to Establishment Republicans for help. Not the Lincoln Project RINO's. Not the Cindy McCains of the world.

The best thing they know how to do is give up.

But Donald Trump doesn't give up. And neither does his base.

They weren't kidding when they shouted, at rallies with thousands in attendance, "We love you!"

Keep believing.

Hold the line, America.
