It happened to Ingrid Bergman.
Her on-screen hubby "Gaslighted" her to the point she didn't know Charles Boyer from Charles Bronson. Or what day of the week it was.
He drove her nuts, and he did it on purpose.
It's what is happening to us. And this isn't a Turner Classic Movie.
On the first of November, there were sleighs and reindeer on front lawns.
Christmas music drifted from car radios, which, by custom, was never heard until the day after Thanksgiving.
But then again, there is no Thanksgiving, is there? And it looks like Chiristmas may be cancelled, too.
By now, we're lucky if we know what day it is.
But that was always part of the plan.
It started in China with a deliberately cultivated virus, travelled through crooked election software in Venezuela, and ended up with a plan to hand an election to a brain-weary candidate.
Locked down and stressed out, we were deprived of our lives, our liberty and the ability to pursue happiness.
And the excuse given was always the same, Covid-19.
When it shut down our robust economy, we were horrified. How was this allowed to happen?
Simply put, it was the only way to get Trump. The economy. All other attacks had failed.
China knew it, and so did the Trump-Haters, in the media, on Wall Street, and in The Swamp.
This was always part of a plan, including the virus. And Joe.
How else can you explain nominating an obviously senile old man for president? What better way to usher in Communism.
Destroy private enterprise and ownership of private property.
Phase out religion, and impose unreasonable riules upon citizens, and you are halfway there. The Ruling Elites were pleased.
And it was always part of the plan.
Joe was chosen because people knew he would trade his own mother for a juicy deal with China. So would Hillary, if she had won in 2012.
But the Dominion rigged-voting system wasn't calibrated properly for her, the way it had been for Obama's 2012 election, so Hillary lost the bid to be a presidential figurehead.
People asked, even when the media did not, why Lunchbucket Joe never campaigned. And why, when he did campaign, he did it in empty parking lots, shouting through a bullhorn at a handful of people? Most of them staffers.
After all, he had the money. Wall Street gave Joe millions of dollars.
The answer to that was simple, too.
It was like the prize fighter who knows the other guy is going to take a dive. Joe didn't have to "train," because he knew Trump was slated to lose.
The Dominion voting system was designed to change votes, as it did for Chavez in 2006 and Maduro in 2013, and the system was imported to the U.S.
On Election Night, the returns told the whole story. Trump was winning.Then counting was abruptly halted in Democrat Battleground States. And Trump started to lose.
We were told not to ask questions.
We were told to believe there was a "Biden Office of the President-Elect," when no one had been certified as the winner.
And the media pushed it hard. Scoffing at talk of voter fraud.
Donald Trump's refusal to concede, Barack Obama told 60 Minutes' Scott Pelley this week, "Is one more step in delegitimizing, not just the incoming Biden administration, but democracy generally."
Except election results weren't in. So there was no Biden administration.
"When your time is up," Obama said, "then it is your job to put the country first and think beyond your own ego, and your own interests and your own disappointment,"
As if he, or Hillary, would know. This from the man who wrote another 768-page book about himself.
For four years Hillary whined about her presidential loss, and both she and Obama plotted and spied upon Trump before and during his tenure in office.
Does Obama think we didn't notice?
The Community Organizer and his bitter wife may be back. And they may be spreading lies and their tired racial hatred again. But somehow they seem so "yesterday."
Maybe it's because of Donald Trump, and what he did for Americans, especially black Americans.
He put America first, and Obama never did.
And Americans noticed.
Hold the line, America.
