Holding a school cake sale to pay for band uniforms, is as stupid as asking Americans who’ve lost their jobs, to “support” the businesses the mayors and governors have shut down.
“Do your part!” governors, Congressmen and mayors bark.
“Sure, we’re closing down the restaurants, beauty parlors, gyms (fill in the blanks), but YOU should support those businesses.
“YOU should leave a bigger tip. YOU should dig down deep!” they say. “Because we’re All In This Together.
None of this makes sense.
Schools are supported by local, state and federal government funds. We pay taxes. Aren’t school and government expenses supposed to be paid out of taxes? And cookies are so hard to bake.
Yes, none of it makes any sense. But it makes as much sense as “Holding a Congressional Bake Sale” to give people $600 in the new Covid-19 Bailout, because they’re giving us back our own money.
The way it works in the real world is if I give my child “an allowance,” and he spends it all on candy, or in Congress’ case, on gender studies in Pakistan, the kid is out of luck.
And Congress should be, too. Out of luck and out of a job.
Instead we’re told, “That’s the way it is,” and “Oops! We ran out of time. We need to push this bill through. We know. It’s a bad bill. We know the election was a bit spotty. But that’s the way it is.”
"And, by the way, it looks like the government is going to shut down. Again."
The Political Elite doesn't realize families actually have budgets. And working people, tax-paying people, actually have to do their jobs. Or they get fired.
But not Congress.
We’re told they can’t do anything about anything. They have to pass a pork-laden bill. We have to hurry and put Joe and, as he stated it yesterday, “President-Elect Harris” in office.
"There isn't time to tackle voter fraud," they grumble. "So just get over it and get on with it.
There isn’t a grown-up in the bunch, and these brats are the same as any other brats.
Alarmingly Dr. Anthony “I’ve Always Been Wrong About the Chinese Virus” Fauci beat out the pope in the 2020 Most Admired list.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch “I Never Have the President’s Back” McConnell continues to never have the president’s back.
And in a new example of “Biden Family Type Nepotism”, Stacey Abrams and Her-Sister-Her-Honor Middle District Judge Leslie Abrams Gardner have managed to orchestrate a ruling which blocked an effort to disqualify thousands of registered voters in the Georgia runoffs.
The times are lean, but the Abrams girls sure aren’t, and they are being praised for putting their weight behind making sure the rigged 2020 presidential election stays rigged.
It’s been a terrible year.
Elected officials have unashamedly shown their Dr. Jekyl-Mr. Hyde faces. Riots, shootings and car jackings have become commonplace in our cities. Rich men are calling all the shots. And the media has sold its soul to the devil.
It was expressed best in an anonymous Facebook post:
It’s just a mask. It’s just a vaccine. It’s just 6 feet. It’s just two weeks to flatten the curve.
It’s just non-essential businesses. It’s just non-essential workers. It’s just a bar. It’s just a restaurant.
It’s just to keep from overwhelming the hospitals. It’s just until the cases go down. It’s just to flatten the curve.
It’s just a few inmates. It’s just to keep others from being scared. It’s just for a few more weeks.
It’s just church; you can still pray. It’s just until we have a vaccine.
It’s just a bracelet. It’s just an app. It’s just for tracing. It’s just to let people know you’re safe to be around. It’s just to let others know who you’ve been in contact with.
It’s just a few more months. It’s just some more inmates.
It’s just a video. It’s just a post. It’s just an email account. It’s just for protecting others from hate speech. It’s just for protecting others from hurt feelings.
It’s just a large gathering, but for protests. It’s just a few violent protests. It’s just a little microchip. It’s just a blood test. It’s just a test. It’s just a scan. It’s just to store a vaccination certificate. It’s just for medical information. It’s just like a credit card.
It’s just a few places that don’t take cash. It’s just so you can travel. It’s just so you can get your drivers’ license. It’s just mail-in voting. It’s just so you can vote.
It’s just a statue. It’s just a monument. It’s just a building. It’s just stuff. It’s just some guns.
It’s just a lyric. It’s just a song. It’s just a few words. It’s just a piece of paper. It’s just a book. It’s just a movie. It’s just a tv show. It’s just a cartoon character.
It’s just a piece of cloth. It’s just a flag.
It’s just a dog at a protest. It’s just a clump of cells. It’s just a fetus.
It’s just a few more years. It’s just a religion. It’s just a holiday.
It’s just a few more guns. It’s just the police. It’s just the military.
It’s just your freedoms.
Gone forever.
Remember, "It's not just an election." "It's not 'Let's wait 'til 2024 to fix it.'" "It's not just another "Movement." "It's not just another presidential candidate."
It's Donald Trump, and he has challenged all that is rotten in government, and hopefully things will never be the same.
Remember to hang in there with him. It’s up to you. And me.
