George Bush is back, but to hear him plug his new book, "Out of Many, One: Portraits of America’s Immigrants," you'd think Trump was back, too.

Bush never got over the fact that voters didn't want Jeb, and the Dynasty of Bush, and that Trump did an outstanding job at being president. Did things, in fact, about immigration, that Bush just talked about. And now painted about.

Bush is that kind of guy. Poke him with a stick and he turns on you.

From the day of Trump's Inauguration, Bush has acted like a petulant child in anything having to do with Trump, saying President Trump's Inaugural speech and the Inauguration, was some "weird shit." And he hasn't changed his tune.

His interview with Hoda Kotb yielded his criticism of the Republican Party, which Bush  said was "Isolationist, protectionist and nativist." Loosely translated, that means Bush is still miffed at the success Trump had, and he didn't.

Sore loser. But it was especially amusing to hear Dana Perino try to explain her former employer's anti-Republican behavior. She didn't. She punted.

Hang tough.
