Who would think that the honey-loving Winnie the Pooh could cause an international uproar when he's a cute, cuddly cartoon?

Apparently Communist President Xi has Fat Shaming issues, and has been likened to the chubby bear.

So Winnie was banned in China.

This week, after tennis champion Peng Shuai seemed to have been "disappeared" by the Chinese government, a curious, seemingly innocuous photo of her appeared, sweetly surrounded by her stuffed animals, but surprisingly with a picture of Winnie the Pooh in the background.

The Chinese government says the tennis champ is "fine," but could this photo be a cry for help?

Pulling out of the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing seems to be the way for the U.S. to go.

It's what Winnie would have wanted.
