For the past two years we have done what we were told, and told what to believe.
The result was a not very pretty world. Some would say Evil was winning the day.
There is no denying. It was perplexing when Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot blamed shop owners for the looting of their stores.
When Rep. Sandy Ocasio-Cortez dismissed the Smash-and-Grab crimewave as a hoax.
And when Philadelphia D.A. Larry Krasner insisted, emphatically, “We don’t have a crisis of crime,” when there have been 521 homicides in his city this year.
That’s the Party line as Democrat-led cities become more and more dangerous to everyday citizens. And as Social Justice prosecutors and judges routinely turn frequent, violent offenders back out onto the street, to commit more crimes.
Sure, it’s ignorant. And insulting. Not to mention sad.
Car-jackings, home invasions and murders are proliferating across the country.
The other day a young student on his way to Columbia University, was stabbed and killed in deBlasio’s New York City.
For no reason at all.
For two solid years we’ve been backing up. Backing up until our backs are against the wall.
But this week President Joe went too far.
It wasn’t his sloppy, indefensible withdrawal from Afghanistan that did it.
It wasn’t the shameful shaming of our soldiers, our Navy SEALS, and all of our citizens, who are being forced to be “woke,” and punished for refusing to be vaccinated.
And it isn’t because Joe is just Joe. Although that would be reason enough.
This week Lunchbox Joe blamed Santa for the supply chain shortage.
Santa!
The jolly old man who gives ‘til it hurts!
The fella’ who drives an eco-friendly sleigh!
St. Nicholas! A man who is a genuine saint. (Unlike Dr. Jill who is not a genuine doctor, but insists on being addressed as one.)
Little by little Joe and other Socialists have worked overtime to dismantle our country and its culture.
But they don’t know what Americans are made of.
Americans are the people who fight against tremendous odds. In the Revolutionary War. In the Pacific Theatre. After Pearl Harbor.
America is a Judeo-Christian country, whose forefathers took great care to make certain our Constitution guaranteed freedom of religion. For all religions.
Including Christianity. And Judaism
So, this is the Christmas season. Jesus Christ's birthday. And Hanukkah.
And Americans will celebrate. Even if Ilhan Omar and others like her might object.
